Bioware has reported getting something like 52k's worth of comment and complaints on the ending. On facebook, the support base to change the end has reached 20k alone.
For me this can only mean one thing ultimately:
With so many loose ends, a game that needs playing over and over to get one (very slightly different ending) is prepping the way for ME4.
I strangely expected to be upset at the end of trilogy but the whole ending has given me hope to more ME coming along.
But in all realistically i feel
7) or ignore the above and consider it a crappy ending!
Sorry folks, this is far from a closed trilogy!

1) EA wont change the end, its a too bigger DLC and it might be more to it then we think and changing it would ruin chances. (It could be one big ploy to see if worth making another game)
2) *Spoiler* - Current endings are fake anyway and the whole 15 minutes at the end has more erm "in Shepards mind" issues. One word worth considering: indoctrination
3) Look at the hints, threads, conversations etc through out the game closely.
4) You can not effectively put a whole galactic war into a game in this shorter time so the missions selected are fueling this outcome.
5) Look at the advertising EA is getting from this ending situation, clever ploy? feelers for another game? making way for books, movies, comics etc?
6) Why when the game ends, and that message comes up (download more DLC) send you back to that specific moment?
