*** Mass Effect 3 ***

I did feel there was lots of hints and feelings of ME follow on games however, im not sure what other people thought.

The forum to keep an eye on seems to be this one : http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/9727423/415 (DO NOT VISIT if you are avoiding spoilers)

the other new theory:

There was never any choice, you could never win, the universe was more powerful, the reapers irrelevant, no matter how hard you fight you could not win. This is rather depressing meaning ME1 ME 2 were all pointless.

Is there any site where it explains you step by step what to do and which choises/decisions to choose/make?

Just finished ME3 and it bothers me that I didn't had Tali and Ashley as squad member :(

As for editor ME2

i have this:

Gibbed.MassEffect2.SaveEdit.25 // ME2SaveEditor-1.0.9.1

which do you use?

What a nightmare!

So I logged in to Origin, and installed my copy of ME3.

I then used webchat to ask about linking my Origin account to my BSN one I had from ME2 that has 1200 Bioware points on it.

They tell me I need to have the same email address for both BSN and Origin for it to work. My BSN is set up with my personal email, but I originally set up Origin using my work email, and ME3 is already registered to that one. The guy basically said there is nothing they can do, tough.

Surely they must be able to either transfer game ownership from one Origin account to another, or transfer the Bioware points from one BSN account to another?

I can't get my DLC now! :(

I spent last night on youtube watching the various endings again... I just do not know what to think.

So I read here and on biowares forums that there is something in the endings that makes sense. Although no one seems to be able to point it out. My thought was something about the planet they landed on or something that Joker and Liara were looking at. I was looking for something ANYTHING to try make sense of what just happened.

I think I need to face facts that the ending is just lame :( I mean them 3 choices really are not choices at all. Same thing happens just different colour explodes from the citidel (oh and EDI in the synth one).

What I am consfused about is why the hell was it only Joker and Liara on the Normandy ?! For my save I want to know how Liara was on the Normandy to begin with because she was down on earth with me running towards that Reaper who blasted me and most of the team up. So how the hell did Liara get to the Normandy so quickly with that Reaper about. What happened to the rest of the team ?? are we to assume they are all dead or what ?

I've been thinking about it for a day or two now since I completed it and I'm just baffled and sad all at the same time. The message at the end really makes me sad when it says something along the lines of "Shepard you are a legend etc play the game more for assests and future DLC"

Other than that in the Spoiler about the ending (yes I know I know another one) The game was fantastic I loved it. The combat felt fluid, the choices "seemed" relavant and impacting. I loved that they reference a lot of stuff to my ME1 and ME2 saves. It really did make the whole thing feel quite personal. The music was top notch too it really helped immerse yourself in the game.

I will keep an eye on the DLC to come for this but honestly I can't see what they can do. I mean with ME2 LoTSB and others fit into it you could play it after the last mission or you could do them before and they fit fine. With ME3 though I mean what could they do ? its not like they can add DLC after the ending especially as the game reverts you back to before the last mission has been completed. I don't care how good the DLC is its pointless if you are just going to get the same outcome :(

That all aside there were leaks about Multiplayer DLC :( I'm sadly going to have to join the crew of "I have lost faith in Bioware" I really do feel they have lost the plot. The Multiplayer is fun but its not what Mass Effect was all about and now seeing that the first DLC may just be MP stuff, really shows me that they are not focusing on the SP so much.

/end rant

Lol, thank you for proving my point. Some people will wet themselves in glee at any reference to the previous game saves no matter how insignificant those references were.

Its no wonder Bioware got away with such **** poor writing. So you saved this guy in the second game? Well here's your token 30 second encounter with no effect on anything that happens!

I'l agree some of them were pointless but some were really good imo. Things like Wrex being alive he could be dead. Same with Ashley and Kaiden. There were some nice bits. But others like

Rachni Queen..... I mean really it was pretty much a 1min of I remember you: Heres your choice "release her again" or "kill her" if you release her you get a thank you and another asset and you never hear or see them again.

That said its hard to compare because I have only had one run through. I plan to have another go at it later down the line with my Renegade Vanguard where lots of people died in my save. Some missions were not done etc and see how the game plays to that. But I won't be playing this game again for a while. Im still in shock :p

This is ridiculous!
"We know everyone is angry, and we have news that(we think) will stop that, BUT WE ARE NOT GOING TO TELL YOU!"

More great PR from Bioware

Some of the small choices from previous games may not have great weight in ME3, but overall it is well done imo, and much better than ME1-ME2. At least imo it makes it so that you are greatly rewarded for carrying over your save. I can't imagine playing the game without some of the squad members from ME2 in it.
^^ THere are more ramifications to the Rachni Queen decision from previous games, but nothing major.

It is honestly not worth trying to review this game, as the ending makes everything else worthless..... I mean, not even an epilogue!

To be honest I think its that Bioware was not expecting the fallout that has come from ME3 and "the ending" and they are rapidly trying to get ideas together to sort it out. But have nothing concrete. If they say things like they have been it gives people "hope" which is what ME is all about hope :p

Personally I think we will be seeing more and more MP stuff to come lol.

Can you not change your email in your Bioware profile? Don`t know what BSN is.

Yup its sad but true :( I have thought about loads and I just cannot make sense of it.

For me
The whole game feels great, I even liked the whole catalyst bit I liked the idea of the 3 choices. You pick your choice. Then boom its over in a flash and none of the choices made sense at all or even mattered at all.

Assuming they probably won't rewrite the entire ending, the best they could manage really would be to change the destroy ending a little to have no mention of it killing ALL synthetic life (geth/edi) and not destroy the mass relays.
Then it's just left with the WTF is the Normandy doing but since the relays are fine they can at least be found and rescued.

Not a great ending but better imo.

I sit here getting more disappointed by the minute:(

the game was so good until the end! As someone said earlier, it makes less sense the more you think about it.

Things were a bit clearer after watching the link below. Huge spoliers though.

After ranting yesterday this made me feel better about the trilogy end.
