lol COD noobs will play COD, it does its thing much better than BF3. The reason they are doing lame CQC first is because it's that much quicker to develop the small maps compared to the so called biggest maps ever in conquest. Look at the time frame for the DLC's, obviously it's taking them time to do them.
And who says CQC is popular, from what I'm reading on forums it's going down like a lead balloon with the majority of players.
You're probably right.
The walls, textures and models are all from stuff already in game. The map looks exactly the same as the "hit and run" co-op mission which in turn is based on one of the campaign missions.
So take a load of textures, models, design ideas from the SP story, and re arrange into a small indoor 8v8 map and bang it out quick
