1st time SSD purchase help

After hearing all the hype about these SSDs and being a first time builder I thought is take a look at them.

After reading various posts/stickies, I am wondering if this drive is any good seeing that its at a good price.

Any thoughts would be great

They're all extremely good, certainly one of better upgrades so you won't be dispointed.

but i think you'd be happy with either.

I have it and its very fast, reliable and good value for money

Boots Windows in seconds, most of the time its waiting for other components to catch up like the CPU.

After reviewing the item I linked to, I thought it mentioned sanforce cos I read they're one of the better drives

Well I'm using a 960t at moment (6 core unlocked) but can't see that'd make a difference lol.

End of day, will 120/128gb surfice to have the OS on?

I have an 80gb SSD. It does fine for Win 7 and all my other apps such as Office. I only have 5gb free though. I would go for a 120/128gb one myself next time.

Well I was considering just getting one solely for the OS and its updates and using an older drive I have for programs, games etc or is that just pointless

As mentioned, the M4 is very good, and a great price. With 128GB you can fit OS and quite a few games/applications, so you might aswell. If you really want one just for the OS, get 60GB

Ok thanks. Was only curious as currently have an 80gb for os and 1tb for everything else
