Urban Dead (Browser based zombie apocalypse)

If the power is on the chances of finding something are increased. I've had a shocking run searching in a PD, in two days I've found 4 clips and two shotgun shells :(
 
I would if it were possible to drop items or swap them even - I also have a loaded shotgun and several spare shells + 2 flak jackets :)

I've also got two fire axes - Is there any point in carrying two - do they wear out eventually?

Think you are in the same place as me, so far since yesterday I have found 5 clips, 4 shells, 3 radios and a flare gun.

Fire axes don't run out so you can just drop it and keep the one, same for the flak jacket I believe :)

You can select items to auto-discard so you don't have to keep discarding items you only need one of. I'm tempted to add flare guns to that list as they're rubbish.
 
I just worked out how to change the clothing it says your character is wearing. All this time I assumed you had to find the stuff by searching buildings. That explains why I never found any clothes :p
 
Flare guns have been given a boost with the ability to whack someone with a fuel can. The hit rate on the flare doesn't go up, but the damage does.

Unfortunately, Craig, either the newer players don't know the Holy Ground/Religious Respect policies, or they just don't care.

The NE corner of Caiger was free of zeds, so I hopped in and repaired it real quick. Grab supplies fast if you need them.
 
Is anybody here running an alternate character relatively close? If you have two characters in close proximity, your search and hit rates pretty much disappear. Might explain the problems some of you are having.

Loving the warehouse next to NE Caiger. It's like a zed blindspot. I'm armed to the teeth and camping out there until I have full AP. All those who want to attempt retaking Caiger should do the same and join me there. I see a few of you already have!

Good point, but my alt Zed character is all the way over in Dulston so I'd hope that's far enough away! 22 more searches... 1 pistol clip and a discarded flak jacket. Annoying!
 
I just did 22 searches and was far more successful than you mate, another 4 clips, shotgun and a shell, looks like I'm getting all the good stuff!

Will now save AP and come on down to the warehouse
 
This morning searches with 17ap found me:

6 pistol clips
1 loaded shotgun
3 loaded pistols
1 flare gun
1 shotgun shell

Quite happy with that, now build up my ap again

May have a wander down towards latrobe later on

Come hang out with us in the warehouse above the mall. Much lower profile, we don't want to arouse suspicion. They didn't even bother ruining it even though it's an entry point to the mall. There're 7 of us here now, and I nearly have full AP so if we can get everyone here it'll be dead easy to take the NE corner, and we'll have supplies right there.

We will need a genny and fuel for when we do though, hands up who has either?
