Maybe because he needed reviving - Hence the seriousness of what has happened

Because if they were giving him chest compressions there is a 90% certainty he's probably dead.

Reviving suggests that he is unconscious or worse though, so surely they can't tell where they are from.

They were trying to resuscitate him for 5mins and still trying whilst he was being stretchered off.

There's still no confirmation yet, there was only 2 mins left till half time but the ref looks like he will talk to the managers and decide if to abandoned the game.
