How much debt do you have?

I have a genuine question with regards to student loan debt. Having "had words" with the Student Loan Company today, it appears as if I've been massively overcharged by them and they owe me a rather large amount of money (rather large in comparison to the loan I took out with them).

Seeing as, throught PAYE, Student Loan is deducted prior to tax (I believe), when I receive the refund from the Student Loan Company am I liable to be taxed on it?

Got a letter through the post from the Student Loan Company last week, spoke to them yesterday morning and it turns out the best way to start the week is to be told you're owed a load of cash! Half gets paid this week, the second half by the end of the month :D

My overdraft went up a bit when I moved to London to around 2k, but it's gone down by about 800 pounds since so i'm quite pleased. Paying off around 150 per month.

I was a bit annoyed at myself recently though as a role that I want to apply to requires my original educational certificates which I need to replace, it's going to be a bit costly...

About £450 on an overdraft to get the gf an engagement ring :) I thought why pay interest when I can use my second accounts overdraft and pay 0% interest.

I can't actually spend money. I feel guilty spending large amounts on non-essentials. But when It comes to make the odd big purchase, I love the feeling of being 'in the market' and doing the research and getting the deals.

Once :( it was horrible! I forgot to check my balance and went over £20. The bank sent me letter and had to go see the manager :D. I was prob only 18 at the time lmao. I hate the idea of debt, I havn't got a lot atm my biggest asset in my 4.5k bmw and that worth more than everything I own including my bank balance lol. But at least a positive balance and a credit rating of 926 xD

two years ago I had 88k now its 27.5k, painful paying it back but once it's gone I'll have a tonne of fun :D

no mortgage that was paid off a while back

Still owe £1600 of £2k loan which I'll pay off by december, only had it since January, and have a £1k overdraft which I'm nearly at the end of but will be working on that one when I get paid next week.

Overdraft basically because of a few things hitting me at the same time from car deciding it wanted to kill it's clutch, new rear tyres,me crashing it and having to buy another two tyres, buying tools to fix it and I've had all my teeth fixed in just over a month!
