How short in supply are they in the UK? You may actually get more than retail price by selling it on ebay or whatever depending on availability.

We have all the 4G ones and none of the WiFi ones. That seems pretty standard at the moment.

Not really, I enjoyed using it in-store thought it would have it's uses which it does but it's just going to make me lazier. I want to sell it for money towards a good mountain bike.

I dont understand why you bought an iPad if you:

a) Wanted a mountain bike instead
b) Could only afford one or the other

I mean other than people wealthy enough not to have to chose between an ipad and a mountain bike, who buys such a thing on impulse?

Does look like you were hasty in getting this...

But..Im gonna jump in here and say keep it - its a fantastic gizmo and you will soon find uses for it. Magazine subscription? get it on the pad. Movies will look awesome on that screen thats got more pixels than this so-called "HD". Its got good batt life, great apps, and its awesome for web-browsing, youttube etc.

Saved the best for last - it is a LIFESAVER while travelling. Specially long-distance flights, bumming around in airports for hours...or long road-trips.

LOL, many many people buy things on impulse actually.

Apple really are brilliant, they can sell people overpriced goods that they don't actually have any need or use for, despite the fact that nobody has any free cash.

By buying things on impulse, not being able to afford them, taking out loans, not having enough money to pay back the loans.

The only fail here is this thread.

For a start I didn't take a loan out to buy it, neither did anyone else I know who bought one and if the thread is so fail why bother commenting in it then?

Say you bought it for a present - you got it out to present it but they already had one... or something.

If you are lucky they might give you a store credit for it, but it is deceptive.

Hence the economy is in the state it is.

hoora for the evil marketing machine lol.

but captain is bang on the button,

we have no money, we are convinced we need something, we buy it and go into debt, we fling it in the bin with outstanding payments on it.

rinse and repeat

Do you really expect a company to take a hit because you don't want to product any more? Tough.

Nope I didn't expect anything, I was just asking for opinions... and I don't have anything with outstanding credit which I have chucked in the bin...
