Hi,

I am making gaming system:

i2500k
8gb xms corsair
750 hx corsair
570 gfx (in time will probably add 2nd 570gfx)
m4 120 ssd

Please advise me the best board to get in 150 quid region.

Lot of people say ASUS P8Z68-V pro is not worth as it only brings 2 extra stata and 4 more usb's in comparison to ASUS P8Z68-V.

And most people are having great time with ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3.

Please advise well as this system got to last 5 years or so...

Thanks

Eric

The Gigbayte has,

More VRM for the CPU so should overclock better and remain cooler.
2X Copper PCB as part of the Ultra Durable features.
DualBIOS
UK based warranty
Cheaper
Black style

fancy bios screens dont mean much tbh,a good stable board backed up by excellent customer services/rma ect is why id go for gigabyte

my next choice would be the maximus iv gene in that cost bracket. i don't really trust asrock.

i was quite lucky looking at current prices to get my gen3 for 126 quid on special offer months ago. running some lv 8gb ddr 3 and 2500k my system is real nice and stable. im happy moving from q6600to this new system.

Virtually same build as what I've with my Asus Z68 V/Gen3 Board, what can I say its a great board that I'm glad I purchased, its one of the best IMHO so can't go wrong to be honest plus has a lot of features, great overclocker too.

I do agree with the above
But I do have an issue with the EPU. I have a wireless headset that used to charge while my PC was off. The ASUS no longer gives me that option.
