OCZ Agility 3 or Crucial M4

i was suggested the M4 by many on here and its amazing i can shut down and reboot my system in a few seconds its brilliant. i used to hate shutting down my old build and would leave it running for days because it would hiccup and take forever this though is amazing

Okay cheers. My understanding of setting them up is; Backup HDD to external drive, then unplug HDD. Plug in SSD and install windows onto that, then once installed onto SSD, plug in HDD and format it. Also set the thing in the bios to AHCI and turn off auto defrag?

Running the WEI should disable the defrag for you:) but the above sound right, do the AHCI before the install.

Set it to AHCI before installing windows on the SSD. Other than that, correct. Windows 7 should pick up that its an SSD and turn everything off that it needs to, but worth a check

EDIT: also be sure to update the firmware (best to do it before you install on it)

Just back up the files rather than the install, unless theres some program files you need to keep. But it wont be an issue if you copy it all.
