What had you achieved by 26?

Ah, as per my post above, I'm also going to Canada. Are you doing a working visa (IEC)?
 
Not much. My life didn't really get started until I was 28. Before that, lots of Quake and fapping.
 
By 26 I had a my BSc Joint Honours, half a PhD, published scientific articles, published photos, climbed several >4000m peaks, completed a ski mountaineering race.
 
PhD, saved a deposit for a house, got myself a teaching job in one of the top schools in the country and managed a year of research in the US too - pretty happy with things so far. Also met the love of my life :)

Probably Blogger - but I'm not a blogger so not 100% sure :p
 
Fully qualified Electrician, paid off my car, got over my first love (late starter), Sorted all my finances out (savings etc). Can't think of much else really.

28 in May.
 
Is having a house really an achievement at 26?

Is that what people aspire towards? :\

I mean it's no bad thing but is it really that big a deal?
