Indeed, poor guy agreed to 42.5mil, which i was happy to pay as he was neut standings and was wanting to get rid of stuff, but after i saw 42isk, i couldnt help myself but click accept!

We then decieded to have alittle fun with him, saying we had a JB network to get him 4 jumps from HS. So we get him into a little fleet, warp him to a moon, and well, im sure you can guess what happened next :p
 
If you don't know, I have just read on evenews that The Mittani has stepped down as CSM Chairman due to his opposing roles as CEO of Goons and CSM. He is focussing on Goons from what I gather, anyone able to shed some light on this?

If you want into PL AFAIK you used to need to join Snigwaffe.

They are/were the official training corp. I knew a guy in there and they sounded pretty organised and solid. Not sure how it works now? Didn't Waffles leave PL?

GF it used to be the case that you had to be a real member of the SA forums.
They have ancillaries like "Merch Industrial" from the Penny Arcade forums that are easier to get into but GF proper was a forum member only thing. They encourage new members to scam pubbies for referalls so don't give anyone ISK.

Dunno if any of that is current. Pop along to their public channel and ask / hang out and read is probably the way forward. By being in a prospective corps public channel you show interest and get a feel for the culture and whatnot. It's good form whoever you want to join.

You're welcome to apply to SOTF and I will put in a word for you. Can't guarantee you'll get in because I am not the HR guy (that's Galus Mendak) or a director but I will certainly attest that you are not a tool.

We're a PVP corporation. We started out in FW but we've branched out a bit now.
Presently we're holidaying in Messoya to molest the locals. Sensing a fine opportunity for murder, mayhem and extortion have popped a roof rack on the jump freighter, stocked up on sports mixture and gone on a road trip.

Our PVE activities are not super organised. We're in FW so you'd have access to FW missions. We also do other stuff like deadspace plexes and a bit of PI / industry but I have to emphasise that we are a PVP corporation. We're not a mission running corp that does a spot of PVP or a sov holding corp that bears all the time and reluctantly turns up for CTAs. We live to ruin pixels. Most of them will be other peoples, some of them will be ours. Our CEO is an acoholic yorkshireman. Our best FCs are vodka-fuelled.

In terms of help, we have an excellent logistics chain with carriers, JFs and a web based corp shop (like amazon for guns and ships). Depending on what you have and where we can probably help you move.

The Mittani stepped down because some miner he suicide ganked threatened to top himself.
The Mittani then encouraged everyone to troll the guy at a Q&A in fanfest and gave out his character name. This was arguably cyber-bullying. Either way, CCP don't want to be appearing to encourage this so he's stepped down.

Question is, who are you in game? Sounds very interesting, I could move my pvp toon to you and use him whilst keeping my other in high sec doing care bear things. With me still picking things up and what not, I am not 100% on what FW is? I shall have a quick shufty on your forum and register my interest.

And I just read a dev blog on the Eve-O website, evenews doesn't have te full story then ;)

EDIT: Just read your entry rules, I shall need to make more kills in RvB as I havn't even hit 50 yet. Oh well, all in a days work.

You're welcome to keep a carebearing alt out of corp. We're not an "alt corp" though so we'd not want one of your toons while you had another in a player corp that demanded most of your time for example.

FW is Faction Warfare. It's basically where you join your corp/alliance to one of the four empire factions (Gallente, Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar) and then can shoot players in the two opposing factions.
You also have access to special low-sec missions for LP. The LP store for FW has unique items in (e.g. Federation Navy Dominix) and can give you the best LP/ISK conversion ratio in empire space.

Sounds like a deal. I have 2 toons and they are played about 50/50 as I dual screen. Do you guys fly any specific size of ship? And for the rest of today (after I cut the grass) I shall be pew pewing reds...
 
Just had a listen to the state of the goonion from mittens after the whole fanfest thing, and all I can say is good ******* god, what a complete a utter prat. I've never seen anyone so far up their own backside.

You could buy a months playtime with that. The PLEX has rocketed in price this week, yesterday at around 10pm it was sat at 511 Mil in Jita...

That's nuts...

We fought on 'winner takes both ships' rules but in the end I let him buy it back off me because faction fits are for suckers and selling stuff is :effort:. That and he really really didn't want to let his pride and joy go.

And I've heard that because The Mittani got hit with a 30 day ban that Goons are going to **** the economy, by buying all the PLEX and reselling at an extortionate amount...But that was in Jita local...from an actual Goonwaffe..
 
Goons and allies will be hellcamping Jita with suicide Thrashers and Tornados instapopping anything that undocks. I'm certainly going to be there, 50 Thrashers and 5 Tornados ready to roll on two toons.

I wonder how much freighters will spike following the carnage.
