Signs that there is a woman driver near you

i find woman drivers ok..

old people are annoying. never knowing where they're going, never indicating, always driivng slow.

i was behind a boy racer the other day, he wouldnt move out of the outside lane, he ended up throwing food out the window at me then showing me the middle finger.. after all that he still never moved over, i under took the tool..

i drive a lot and cant really remember a woman driving like an idiot

roundabouts petrify women, utterly, if it didnt wind me up so intensely it would be comical

I saw a someone going the wrong way round a roundabout earlier. It came as no surprise when the car faced me that it was a woman driving. The good thing is that it was in a housing estate with no other cars around to witness that. I'm still puzzled how she achieved that in the first place though...

Fiat Punto I think it was driving a long at around 40 ish with the back right wheel at a 45 degree angle to the road. I've never seen anything like it before and hope to never again. How the bearing was hanging on I'll never know but I wasn't about to stick around to find out.

Yes it was a woman driving. How can you not notice something like that?!

You drive around a mostly blind corner. You slowed your speed to ensure you could stop if anything was around it. Turns out, there is a stopped car right on the exit. You slow down and stop. The Ford Ka behind you who flew around it just had it's driver stand on the brakes, squeal out of her lane with all four locked, straight off the corner as if slingshotting a sun. Directly through the path of an oncoming bus that if arrived 1 second later or picked up just 1 more passenger at the last stop would be sporting a Ka as a bonnet mural.

She has literally just said that her "goal for April is not to have a crash".

Isn't that an implicit goal every single time you get in the car?

Remind her to put into practice the most basic rule of the highway

Don't hit anything

I was driving along the A174 dual carriageway yesterday, i was approaching a honda civic in the outside lane, nothing on the inside lane at all, i got behind it and waited, it moved over to the inside lane to let me pass, i moved over to the inside lane as you should, he then moved back into the outside lane, it was a male in his 50's, go figure!

Current gripe applied stereotypically to women: not looking both ways when turning left out a junction. I nearly took a woman on side on yesterday as she did this; there was a queue at the petrol station (don't), I had to cross to the other side to get past it. Did she anticipate there might be someone coming on the wrong side of the road because of the queue? Nope.

I see that all the time, I really don't understand it. One that I remember was when it was about 1am so it was more or less empty and I was on the M25 cruising along at 70. I was nearing a junction and the car in front of me pulled onto the motorway then went immediately to lane 3 and must've been doing 65. I ended up undertaking him. Really don't understand the mentality of people having to sit in lane 2 or 3 especially when there are no cars at all. Didn't cause me a problem of course but I just thought he was a tool.

That said, I can't remember the last time a woman driver specifically caused me much of an issue other than what seems to be the usual pulling out on roundabouts without looking but I almost expect everyone to do that these days anyway, not just women.

You know there is a women driver near you when they pull out of the hard shoulder at walking pace, into the path of your car in the inside lane of the motorway.

Why is it that without exception, women won't let you out at junctions? You are turning right and so are they, they have to cross your path, but noooo, no way would they consider letting you out.

You're driving around the southern round-a-bout at the Meadowhall junction on the M1, suddenly you find your self playing chicken with a car going anti-clockwise round the round-a-bout, it's being driven by a woman. Scared the life out of me.

I don't see how that's even possible, all the junctions even point left

Approaching a roundabout with full visibility all around and no other cars about, if the car infront of you has its brake lights on... it's a woman.

Right I notice this a lot on motorways after getting Van driving duties at my work. Its my pet hate and really peeves me off.

Work Van is limited to 75mph. I drive at a steady 70mph depending on conditions.

Notice a car driving right up my rear sits there for a few mins then they decide overtake me. 1 mile up the road it's the same car driving at 55-60mph which I overtake at 70mph.

Couple of miles up the road notice same car in my wing mirrors and decides to overtake and repeat the whole progress again....

It's always a woman!! Do they get afraid at siting at a steady speed or do they not like getting overtook?

......to women, its personal.

If only I hadn't just deleted the footage from my camera.
So I'm on a reccy drive for a new cycle route tomorrow morning.
I'm down some single track road in the back of beyond (Cotswold hills) and I see two people carriers heading toward me in the distance.
I stop opposite a gateway (I'm in no rush) so they can pass.
MPV 1 takes a half attempted turn into a bit of the verge that is flat about a 100 yds in front of me. Bear in mind I've been stopped waiting for them to approach for the last ten seconds or so..
It's too far to see whether she's beckoning me from within her cabin and she offers no "flash of the lights".
I stay put thinking "come on you dopey bitch I'm already stopped here and there's no where for me to go with MPV 2 behind you".
She eventually gets the hint I'm not moving and heads towards me...
She then indicates and turns immediately left into her driveway 10 yds in front of me.
No wave of thanks, just a miserable old scowl to an otherwise wind worn country face.

Jesus wept.
