Mega millions shared between 3 people.

No no your form of happiness is I think is just greed, there is no loyalty, no belief, money will not bring you happiness, just lustful pleasure. I bet you can't even define what happiness is.

I have no happiness from either 'loyalty or belief'. Happiness is feeling the emotion of being happy and not being sad. With millions in my bank account for the rest of my life, I would never be sad again.

Money would also get me a puppy, that's all the loyalty I need.

What about all the people pressurising you for money, you will become a recluse.

Give a definition of happiness with which money buys you, does it mean you can buy a home far away and have nothing to do with society, is that what you call happiness or is that escapism?

Same. It would be the greatest thing ever. :(

People who say money does not bring happiness are just making themseves feel better for not having millions of pounds. :p

That makes sense to me, its all about how you "use" the money. If you're a jerk before winning the lottery its likely you'll still be a jerk after. Money won't change your personality, it'll just change your head.

+1

i know i would be over the moon with that sort of change :p

Get whatever you want when you want, with little to no questions asked (depending on the items) go anywhere, see anything... there is too much to do with that sort of cash lol

I wouldn't care tbh, having nothing to with society is a plus isnt it lol.

Id only want that much money if I had someone to spend it with, thankfully I do. Will end up giving most of the money away anyway.

There's the option of staying anonymous.

It'd bring me happiness because I would be able to ensure my family are set for life and have the best possible healthcare in times of need, I would finally be able to do the things I've always wanted to do, buy the things I've always wanted to buy, donate millions to charities that mean a lot to me and never have to worry about the things that a lack of money brings.

A nice Italian villa up in the hills with my observatory in the garden will do me fine,no chavs up there while pop olives and crusty bread in my belly:) New york apartment would be on the cards aswell.

That's not really happiness thug is it that's just some kind of denial, you sound like if you can buy the best healthcare then you will live forever. Your really buying into denial and a false sense of hope.

What i am asking for is a definition of happiness.

Do you think i was being sarcastic, how many lottery winners have committed suicide?
Apparently one has :(
I'm not sure making millions of people disappointed at having to leave their little fantasy world is worth making a few people richer than they actually want to be.

Not one of them would have the first clue about how to spend more than a million, never mind tens of millions.

house
car
holiday
....
....
?

that's it, imagination fail :(

one day I'd like to hear someone say, '"hey that's great, think of all the good I can do", instead of always house/car/holiday for parent/friends/me

We all know that rich people lead perfect lives, never have any problems, never get depressed, never commit suicide etc. etc.

A home in Hawaii would be far better than living in crappy Bradford. I can ignore anyone pressuring me money, and don't even see how that is a negative.

Winning the lottery solves 1 issue and that's worry about money/how much something costs.

Still the same person with the same issues bar problems bar that.

I'd probably tell nobody and just come up with some online success story to explain my spending habits to family and co. I think having the money brings up a whole set of issues everyone overlooks how friends/new friends treat you. My family would be fine but everyone else doubt it...

Mental disease is a different thing. Fortunately if that's the case, money can also buy me plenty of medication and healthcare.

Having money to buy plenty of medication and healthcare worked out well for all those rich people with problems you read about.
