Who here owns a Renaultsport?

I've been given a brand new Renault air filter but the screws holding my air box together are rusted on so havent changed it yet.

Would like to change the oil and plugs though as I havent done them since I bought the car.

Servicing is relatively easy, I normally drop the sump plug in the oil though which makes things a bit messy!

I wouldn't trust myself doing a service; I wouldn't even know where to start. At least we have some nice weather for you to do it Skeeter :)

Yeah that was my thought, but when you look at it there isn't much too it. Pollen filter is just removing some trim and 1 screw, air filter is just 3 or 4 screws, and the oil filter just requires you to remove the fuel rail guard and then unscrew it. Changing the oil is just a case of removing the sump nut and letting it drain.

Had my plugs done a while back. The guy who did it said it was a bit of a pain as you have to dismantle a load of the top of the engine to get to them.

Hopefully all the stuff should arrive before next weekend so I can just get it all done in a day. Having trouble finding anywhere online that sells a dogbone mount though. Any ideas?

I've gone back to my standard bullets for now, I fancied a change, and the slightly off colour match on the colour coded ones always bugged me! I might get them redone if I can be bothered.

Euro car parts? The link I provided on CS to the GSF shop on ebay? Alternatively you can have the one I removed from my car when fitting the polybushed one.

I'm a massive fan of the latest RS Megans. With the next Clio being a 5 door I think a lot of people will start turning their attention towards the Megan. If your going to have a bigger car, you may as well go for the one already established in that market.

Epic colour choice too! Your sister has good taste.

Love the look of the new Megane. The new RS265 Cup looks awesome! I'm thinking about saving for a Megane R26 as my car is starting to get a bit small to be honest and I'm not sure if I can be bothered modding it as it's a waste of money really. I love the look of the R26 in Ultra Red (I think that's what it's called anyway, it is for the Clio 200). :p

Thinking about doing my front diamond black. It needs to be done cheaply though so I will be spraying it (with plastidip I expect) unless you can get a carbon wrapped one cheaply?

I absolutely LOVE the look of the new RS Megane. It is supposed to be a fantastic car as well isnt it?

I may postpone my plane of getting into a fast car again this year and wait a couple of years until these Meganes around the 10k mark.

I have a A4 sheet of dinoc which I cut a small piece out of, should be enough for a diamond. Trust me your addy and I'll post it to you.

A mate painted mine for me (and rear diamond, Clio badge and dash strips) but the front one is stone chipped already.
