To be honest, if OCUK continues to sell hardware and peripherals at great prices and with the best customer service bar none, I couldn't care less how they advertise. I find the forums liberal and expressive but with a good amount of control to keep things in check.

I think it's stupid that this is supposed to be a family friendly forum. If mom and dad want to sit with kiddies and surf something there's so much on the net for them.
In the end this is a lads forum, for lads by lads and by Odin's beard we should be free to post lads things. Includes boobs, bums and babes, it's also be scientifically proven to boost moral among men and lift the spirits.

If I worked in an office I would find looking at the forum during break a little awkward because of that banner at the top, web pages with models at the top are usually ones with suspect content.
Thread with boobs - don't see the point in bringing it in here, although it it nice to having someone fetch you the best pictures without having to go look yourself.
I think as we have female members this is something that should be avoided, they might be fine with it or they might feel obliged to pretend to be fine with it to fit in, but either way being the gender that gets oggled at the most probably gets a bit boring, particulary as we are not the most attractive bunch of males on the planet.
Apart from Freefaller of course, no homo.
I'd agree with someone else that making this forum child friendly is bad because kids are really annoying until they get to around 23. However making it "adult" friendly with swearing and boobs everywhere is far more annoying.

I haven't read through 9 pages but I completely agree with the OP. If you are 14/15 then great, computers and cleavage. For those of us who are a little older I can't help think it's overwhelmingly tacky and lacks class.
However, it should be said that it's more likely to be a poor moderating decision than the shops owners but unfortunately it reflects badly on the owners and the OcUK business as a whole.

I can't understand what all the fuss is about, at nearly every big show most major manufacturers and software companies have scantily clad babes on their stands. Intel do it, AMD do it, Nvidia do it so why not ocuk? If you don't like looking at them, go fish out your stash of homos weekly or something.

If I wanted to look at women I will either try it on with my girlfriend or failing that look at other, more specialised sites to fulfil my needs. Funnily enough, I don't think a computer hardware forum is the place for it.
