One thing I've never really understood is why porn is such a big deal whereas violent movies don't seem to be? Murder, death and torture is fine and many parents will happily allow kids to watch 15 and 18 rated films but OMG?! IS THAT A NAKED GIRL?!?! TO THE DAILY MAIL!!!!
I agree, in fact you only have to compare what is allowed on TV compared to what you see on the internet to see that even after the 9pm watershed, viewers aren't allowed to decide for themselves what they can and cannot watch :(

I'm not saying we shouldn't have censorship, but right now it just seems so OTT (in the UK at least).

Good. It objectifies women.

Nah - it quite blatantly objectifies men more...

The woman is the star in most porn scenes - the man is simply there as a life support machine for his penis.... a mere object for the woman to mount.

Control freak governments trying to socially engineer the population. Parents need to do their own parenting of Wayne and Britney.

Opt-out rather than in please.

This is one thing that has always perplexed me about modern day society. Sex and nudity (related to creating life) is frowned upon yet violence, torture, murder e.t.c (related to taking life) is more acceptable.

Has never made any sense to me.

someone rang in non radio show today regarding the proposed snooping bill and suggested everyone cc the home secretary into all of there emails I thought it was bloody genius. lol

Actual acts of pornography vs fake acts of murder/death/etc.

I don't see a problem with it. We've quite rightly had restrictions on physical pornographic materials for decades, I don't see how porn on the internet is any different.

But oh wait, it's on the internet, they are encroaching on our porn, I mean freedom! :p

Morons, ''OMG think of the childeren''.

I remember staying up late to watch sexcetera @ 11pm every friday night when I was 12 :D.
Plus meh, kids aren't idiots, every 15/16 year old will simply illegally download porn if they want to, why on earth would you want to block it anyhow (except if you're a religious wacko)?
