Forza 4

Rev bangers? :o

The old muscle cars that Rahr85 has explained in the past... They only have a 4 speed gearbox, so you can't get up beyond a certain speed, which severely limits the PI. So, if you mod the handling and acceleration, but don't upgrade the gearbox, then you can end up with something that steers pretty well and gets up to top speed very quickly, even though that top speed isn't all that high by comparison to other cars of the same PI. Then you race it on somewhere like Tsukuba, where top speed doesn't matter much, and you'll beat just about everything else because you have the acceleration and the cornering, where their car "wastes" PI on top end speed. You might get spanked on Le Mans, but big deal - just don't race that car there.

The rev banging refers to the fact that on any decently long straight you'll be hitting the rev limiter in 4th at 120mph or whatever.

The new DLC is out today and the SLS AMG GT3 is awesome, nicest handling car in the game. The new Rivals are also online and they are all quite good fun, besides the Drift and Drag which i suck at.

Really, i worked 13hours yesterday so didn't get anywhere near my Xbox, but I'm off for Easter now until Tuesday, so ill be online quite a bit. :)

Hopefully ill be able to get involved in some OcUK online races.

The 850R is a lot more boring stock than I expected the gear ratios seem terrible for a performance model. It's a lot better with a race box and drive train swap to RWD.

It's only a 4 speed. I suspect T10 modelled it off a US market car with a slushmatic box.

Full Race P&H and Driveline upgrades and it's a proper race car.

added this to club garage - use it for drift event.. easy to control but needs a kick to get it going ;)

Ive only just started attempting the drift events....such a steep learning curve! Loving the new RX-7 GSL-SE though :D

I bought it in late Feb and I'm around L77 I should get back into this more too instead of bashing my head off the wall playing MW3 again.

I could do with a few more Rivals challenges with unicorn rewards shame there's no KOTT this month.

Another Northamptonian i see :)

Currently sat around level 69/70 after 3 months or so i think right now, putting far to much time into Forza 4 lately though lol

I'm at about 130 or 140 or something. I'm about 50% through the event list. I'll go back to it once I've sated my lust for chaos in NFS: Hot Pursuit.

I could really do with making my way through the event list, so many of my career races are going towards completing it :(

That new SLS round Road America is pretty good. I tried the Laguna Seca event with my GT-R but it just understeers like mental so I can't get a decent time - need to sort the handling on that one.

The understeer is pretty bad on that car and does seem to mirror reality they've resorted to a commissioned front tyre amongst other changes on the 2012 GT-R. It's not really a nice car to drive in this I don't know if simulating the electronics would have made any difference.
