Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I've started playing this again and there are quite a few people still playing, not as many as before but I was still finding games quite quickly. I think it depends what time you are online.

I got my Sagat to 1000 points, next up is Gouken. :)
 
Gouken will be easy, online, just back throw. Done.

I'm playing this again, haven't put much time into SFxT. I quite like doing FT5, winner changes scenario.
 
I love AE and me and my mates still play this pretty regularly, it basically my main FG even now. :D

I'm just not gelling with SFxT and I really want to :(.
I get my ass handed to me on line quite a bit with AE, but its never been as bad as it is on SFxT, I just get destroyed all the time.

Still aint settled on my two characters.

But every time I put on AE and play with my mates I ALWAYS enjoy myself. Have not gotten bored of it yet and cant see that happening for quite a while yet. :D
 
I still enjoy playing AE, that's the only reason I play it. If I get bored I set myself a challenge and try get another character to 1000 battle points in ranked mode.

Guile
Akuma
Seth
Oni

lmao, I could NEVER do that, I suck that much, but again, I still love it and thats all that really matters.

Love playing as Oni he just has a bag full of great Normals and he looks Beast.

Watching OMH's oni makes me dizzy lol, the mans amazing.

That's the real challenge, trying to maintain your PP at the same time. I managed to get it up to almost 2900pp last week but one bad session and I was down to 2300.

I think Art got to 1000 battle points with every single character, but SF was his full time job back then. :p

Ryu gets boring although he's still my main. Sometimes I struggle to beat opponents with Ryu but can beat them easily with Akuma, which I suppose shows I am playing him slightly differently now, whereas at first I would play every char like Ryu. :o
 
Played Madbeats/Gavsgarden who is a really solid Ryu player and asked him what he thought of SFxT, lets just say he doesn't rate it. Also bumped into Jiji in ranked he's also still on AE as well as meansfgamer, TKO RIMZ etc. So quite a few of the good players are still playing AE.

Anyway, slightly off topic but my o2 broadband goes off at the end of April. Is fibre optic much better for online gaming hence worth going for? I am looking for a new provider, it will most likely be Sky since I can get their broadband for free but I'm considering fibre optic, which I'd have to pay for.
