can anyone recommend the best non-ssd that are decently priced? I mostly use my PC for gaming, so far i've had my eye on the Samsung F3 500GB (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-081-SA&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=940), the reviews all seem pretty solid and its an ideal size, but im curious about how the 16mb cache will effect the drive as opposed to the 1Tb version which was 32mb? and what are peoples views on samsung hard disks? i've heard some bad things in the past about their quality and durability. Another option i was looking at is the WD Caviar Blue (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-364-WD), which seems very similar in price and performance

what are peoples views on these drives in terms of bang for buck?

thanks!

i think the best u can go for is 7200 rpm drives there are 10k rpm drives but they are pricey. samsung hard drives are now seagates.
in my opinion go for the highest GB for storage as they all have very similar performance
