Thats why I bank with Barclays. They often do reviews of transactions and call you to verify

If its something out of the ordinary or that doesn't fit with your normal purchases sure, but if they just do it randomly isn't that just a hassle?

Yep, I'm not complaining, it just seems odd.

One of the questions they asked me to verify it was me was along the lines of what digital distribution company did I make a purchase with on a specific date, then they asked me to confirm that some transactions were made by me, two of the three were to an online games company, I'm not sure why they'd think that buying a game online would be fraudulent given that I have a history of buying that kind of thing online.

Edit: Should mention, I'm not complaining. I'd rather the false alarm than them not catching things that are fraudulent. I just find it odd and if someone else's card is declined somewhere and they see this thread, they might have the same problem.

Lloyds TSB have a habit of doing that as well. Pity they didn't think to do it when I got funds to the tune of about 500 quid lifted from my account a couple of months ago.

Just realised that I pre purchased this at £50 and I'm going to Africa for 6 weeks from July into August so there is a good chance I will miss the release anyway and with that my 3 day head start and all that. Damn.

Yes it will, there was a Nvidia 3D PC playing Guild Wars 2, at PAX in 2010. So it's been able to do 3D for a while.

It's wasted on me though as I can't see the 3D effect.

I didn't get invited but queuing for servers for 6 hours isn't exactly exciting anyway

Guessing testing server capacity hopefully for the first BWE next weekend.

Do you know if this is someone who was invited into the last beta weekend? Reason I ask is I played the last beta but on my friends invite. Just wondering if he got the above invite too.
