I'm seriously annoyed, I've not rushed as there's no point in getting to 50 then moaning about nothing to do to find that had I flashed though the game with one Char Id get a free month.
Really hacked off at that. A big Faux Pas by Bioware on that one.
Well, so far the devs are doing a GREAT job to make me want to keep playing. I renewed yesterday to give 1.2 a try as the last chance for swtor for me. So far though it's looking like I may not give it more than a week or 2 before dumping it entirely in favour of games that work and are run by devs that may have a clue.

This is becoming familiar ground with this game now to expect problems when they release a patch.
So they release there so called ground breaking patch yesterday, and a few hrs later release another patch to solve :
Addressed an issue that could prevent characters from being deleted.
Made improvements to the CS ticketing system.
Surely after spending around 1 month testing 1.2 the majority of bugs should be fixed, including the patch today?
Then a few hrs later, emergency maintenance is required for the servers to go down again because they have some how pre patched the servers to a post patch resulting in missing content etc in the game.
BW are not helping themselves and this is just getting embarrassing.
Are BW simply understaffed, or not good enough to run a major MMORPG, or simply unlucky?

Does anybody know what the most and least played sage skill trees are? I'm currently a seer but they definately seem to be very popular, I want to reset skill tree to whatever is least played.
(not happy about no SWTOR tonight, would've prefered it down on a week night).

I would say Balance is the least played.
I'm laughing at all this, I was supposed to come back and play for a bit today then this.
On top of that, what's all this about 50s getting an entire whole free month but <49 subbers who've played since day 1 don't. Way to pee off a large part of your playerbase. It's sad to see the childish responses on the forums "Deal with it" "qq" "should've been 50 already!" totally avoiding the issue at hand.
My friend got the email "You are one of our most active and valued high level players and we know you have been waiting patiently for Game Update 1.2: Legacy" but, he hasn't played for 2 months. It was a clear blanket addition.
All of them probably!
They should've chopped off some heads already, Stephen Reid is either really bad at what he does or people keep giving him the wrong information and has to cover for himself constantly.
Which begs, if that is the case then is the whole chain of command a mess?
You know, it's about time they had a proper public test environment since it's quite clear they can't do it themselves and have to find out things by large scale play sessions aka, Live.

Reid is only the community manager, nothing offical he ever says would leave his keyboard without PR and marketing going over it with a fine toothcomb.
Really think either their entire QA team needs fired and replaced with people that can actually do the job or the idiot higher up that keeps signing off on broken updates as ready for ship needs reassigned to the cleaner's dept.

You think so? I believe you are not aware of the constant faults over the years he's made. So much for going over it with a fine toothcomb, he and whoever looks over his announcments are equally bad.
I don't care what he "only" is, he simply can't do his job as efficiently as someone else should and this reflects on the company about how much they really care. I said this pre-release, I wasn't wrong.
Chances are that the QA Testers are actually doing their job very well. It's more likely that they've found and reported many of the bugs that have occured but other departments have came back saying it isn't necessary to fix them for one reason or another (hard to replicate, no time etc etc).
Balance it is then, hopefully it'll be back on before midnight, if so i'll get a couple of hours in still.
