Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Story:

Ghost Recon Future Soldier takes place in the near future. A dirty bomb has taken out a Ghost team and another Ghost team (consisting of Kozak, Ghost Lead, Pepper and 30k) is tasked with tracking down the source of the dirty bomb using advanced technology. During the campaign, the Ghosts will visit places such as Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia and Norway.

Is anybody getting this? I thought the previous Ghost Recon games were good but I wasn't crazy about them, this looks fantastic though. Also, does anybody know where the 'Signature Edition' of this is being sold? I can only see it on the Ubisoft website. It's on the GAME website aswell..but you all know the story there -_-
 
I was going to do an OP on this at some point but literally couldn't be arsed. :p

It actually looks pretty good, I've loved both of the G.R.A.W games and this one seems to bring a few new ideas to the series. Liking the sound of the wave based mode, moving to different locations after a set amount of waves sounds like a good idea to make things more interesting. I'll play a demo first but if it handles like any of the other games in the series then I'll be purchasing it for sure.
 
Not sure what is gameplay footage looking at the trailer. Also seems the colours are very vibrant. Looks quite similar to mgs online.

It's been a long time since I played GRAW 2 online and remember it was fun but mostly due to the lack of competitors and difficulty getting into servers.

Will this be able to hold a large play base with cod and bf already in the market?

On the official Facebook page, the developers listed the following instructions for North American players who wish to join the upcoming closed beta: (European players can read the beta details released last week for more info)

Splinter Cell Conviction Owners: You will have automatic access to the beta from your Splinter Cell disc on the 19th – no keys needed. However, you’ll be receiving an email from us starting on April 19th with three Xbox beta access keys that you can share with friends to build your squad!

If this isn't exclusive to North America, would somebody be willing to share one of their Splinter Cell keys with me? I've got a PS3 and an Xbox 360 so I'm not picky... :p :)
 
This game looks promising for the co-op side of things. Been looking for a new 4 player co-op experience and I remember having a laugh in GRAW2. I just hope it doesn't suffer from the network code issues GRAW2 had on release. The A.I. in GRAW games has always been poor too, never really touching on the greatness of the original Ghost Recon.
 
GRAW and GRAW2 (to a lesser extent) were very popular games with a croud of OcUK people for the multiplayer - I'll be keeping an eye out to see how well GRFS pans out and might pick it up.

I was until I saw the trailer :(

It looks like Crysis 2, I hate all that cloaking stuff. I love the older ones and the weapons look fine I just hope they haven't gone for a Perk/streak system and unlocking stuff as you level up. Just leave it as it was a balanced shooter with modern weapons.

Lets pray the netcode and lobbies have moved on in nearly 5 years! I can't believe it's been that long considering how close GRAW 1 and 2 were together.
 
I hope they don't allow the stealth camo in multiplayer, or, if they do then we need something to counter it, like a jammer or a heartbeat sensor or something.
 
Another one thats been on my pre-order list for quite some time...love all the GRAW games so cant wait for this. Dont really care if its as good as the last 2 or not...for me i cannot wait.
 
Seeing the camo kind of puts me off the game a bit. All I can ask for is no stupidly impossible achievements like climbing to the top of the ranked leaderboards or the 60 minute ultimate defender which was possible but it was a complete bitch to get.

I think half of it was the **** poor upload speeds we all had back then, 16 player lobbies on Krono's 256kbit upload wasn't going to go very far :p
 
Still haven't seen the Signature Edition for this anywhere, hope some retailer grabs it soon. GAME are advertising it on their website but with the state they're in right now I don't know about preordering anything with them.
