I'm sure there's a solution to your problem. I don't believe for a minute that there's a problem that would flat out permanently prevent you from playing a game.

I've had frustrating problems with Steam that have taken me days to sort before, but it's never made me flip and complain about it.

We spit out or dummies for the slightest thing, we don't pay for games we play or pay very little, we act like we are the centre of the gaming universe. We enjoy signing things.

EDIT: We know that people signing the GFWL petition had no intention of paying for it anyway, just like the original petition.

I can't say exactly, due to not having photographic memory... However what I do remember is an error code with a lot of random numbers in after attempting to log in. If I remember correctly it was something to do with GFWL thinking I had a connection problem when I didn't.

One hour I would constantly get it, then sometimes it would log in but then proceed to crash.
 
Signed. GFWL one day decided to delete all my game saves. Geeee thanks GFWL ¬.¬

Not to mention the incessant logging in and updating, takes forever to start a GFWL game and then when you do get in all your saves are gone grrrraaaagggghhghghhghhdfjiushdsfiolhndfgbklnjdfh basically.

Have you read the petition? ....it simply states that we are glad you are bringing it to PC, but would you consider using Steam instead because lots of people have problems with it.

I don't see that as a negative thing in any way....nobody is demanding anything, and nobody wants to "BURN THEM". What exactly are you complaining about?
 
I've signed it and forwarded the petition link onto as many friends as I can think would be interested in the game.

Personally, I think GFWL is one of the worst things to happen to PC gaming in recent years. Crashing, harassment, logging in just to play a single player game, the service not even backing up save games? Absolute joke.

I for one am really looking forward to Dark Souls but when I heard it was going to be a GFWL title my heart literally sank.

Just my two pennies worth.

I've not read the all comments in the petition but do you think I could go through them and find more text dedicated to what he's talking about than what is in the petition description?

Have a look at the first page "financial suicide". It's reading garbage like that drives the wedge between me and "we" all the deeper.

Yeah a lot of people are posting **** like that, but it's what the petition is actually about not what those people are typing.

It would help if people would actually read what it's about before posting though :rolleyes:

I agree 100% with Totalbiscuit, even though I haven't had one issue with gfwl I appreciate many have. But you can't blame From or Namco,

I'm just grateful we get the game, and with extras. More publishers take note!
 
If it wasn't for GFWL this game wouldn't be coming to pc, simple as that, It's GFWL or nothing,

Stop whining, if it bothers you that much don't buy it

Yeah, easiest way for them to get it over (and far cheaper) so I see their point.

Definitely agree with that video. I've signed the petition, since I hope they'll take note of the fact that we don't like GFWL and implement Steamworks for the sequel.

I've personally not had too many problems with GFWL (other than serious compatibility issues with my router, a Speedtouch 565v6, but that only applies for games with server browsers and stuff) so it'll remain a day 1 purchase for me, in the hopes that changes will be made for the sequel and that online play won't be affected by my router.

Quite the opposite BAC on Steam still uses GFWL as well as Steamworks. Rocksteady only included Steamworks at the last minute as they got tired of people posting the same old **** about GFWL=no sale like they are doing here now & Steamworks integration broke the game for all BAC Steam buyers as it was included too late to have any proper QA done. if it was GFWL the save game & missing achvs issues would have been easy to fix.

Here we go again the same trolls asking for something similar & the original petition asked for Steamworks but guess what Namco ignored that plea as GFWL was the best choice for this game as its based on the 360 version they are not going to scrap that & start from scratch this is only a budget port anyway it has low res console textures but higher res overall on PC makes it looks better still.

All this petition is going to do is make Namco look at how credible the PC community is :(
