PLUS in addition no they wont, because everyone knows that the GTX 685 and the 690 will be out soon, at a similar price to 600 quid, especially the 685
What you mean as per your made up German link?
now then, this tells you that the 680 will drop in price to be below the 685, so even if your heart is set on the 680, now is still not the time to buy, buy in August.
More made up stuff without substance.
Let's just admit you're going to spend the next 2 years or more discussing which card you're going to buy without actually ever buying one. At least admit that much so we don't have to keep hearing you waffle on about which card you're "going to buy". Hate to say it: you're becoming very, very tedious.
it'll be 680 = 500 quid..... 685 = 600 quid and the 690 = 600 to 700 quid
Why would nVidia release their dual GPU card at much less than the price of two single GPU cards? Stop spouting this nonsense, seriously. There is absolutely no precedent at all that I can think of, where AMD/nVidia released their dual GPU card at only 20 - 40% (using your ridiculous figures) the price of their single card even considering 2/4GB variations. It would completely make upgrading from 1 680 to 2 680's a non starter which would completely shoot themselves in the foot. At least think about the bigger picture before talking rubbish.
