I can't wait to get that. :D

Then it gets worse, Arsenal (21st), Barcelona (24th), QPR (29th), Newcastle (2nd), Liverpool (5th), Liverpool (8th) and Blackburn (13th). Looks like we have a cup final with every game.
 
I really wish I could get tickets to the cup final. Unfortunately I don't have a membership this year, and having only been to one game this season (I play(ed) football on Saturdays) I doubt I'd get a ticket even if I did have a membership.
 
I did think the ball had gone over the line in mid air but only from watching a replay afterwards. It could have gone either way. The pictures are quite conclusive as to how the decision went.

Might sound like a daft question.. which part of the line.. The back of the line or front. The vertical line shows from the front.

I saw that capture on SSN last night and my initial reaction was that it looked 50/50, without technology I don't think you can blame the officials for giving the decision either way.

The is a 'fake' image going round at the minute, well 'altered' image. The Getty image hasn't been altered.

It has to be over the line :confused: so the entire ball has to be past the line. The back of the line, you see it all the time with throwins :p you're right it was a daft question :p :D

Glad I didn't disappoint :p

I wondered because of where the vertical line was drawn and to be honest you could draw that vertical line anywhere along the diagonal goal line and it would make a huge difference. The lines on the image is quite deceptive but the vertical one is not accurate.

Oh well all done now :)

The vertical line shows where the back of the ball is, whereas the thicker, horizontal line shows the back of the goal line (where the ball has to pass). The ball didn't pass it.
