NVIDIA still outselling AMD massively!

yeah i know, my comment was in vain, until nvidia sees any struggle whatsoever..they have no obligation to lower prices. oh well... I just hope their prices don't rise.

What's wrong with an fps limiter? Ultimately gives you the same thing, no?

Adaptive vsync turns itself off on the fly when your fps drops below 60, so no more 30fps when you dropped into the 50's as you would do with standard vsync.

The only issue I am having presently is I am hearing that Nvidia crads suffer from reduced IQ compared to AMD cards?

Ever so slightly in the colour department from my point of view, depending on how sensitive you are to it & how good your monitor is (mine isn't great tbh)

I recently went from a series of ATi cards (4xxx & 5xxx ones) to a 2gb 560 Ti, and tbh I prefer the Nvidia drivers + NVInspector over CCC.

Although if they bring out another driver set that kills cards I might change that opinion :)

Isn't that exactly the same as the framerate limiter in afterburner?

I'm really not 100% sure tbh.

Why would they also add a framerate limiter into the Forceware drivers & Adaptive Vsync, if they're both just doing the same job?

So the nvidia marketeers can give it a funky name, spread it in FUD and sell more cards :D

I'll test both out and report back

The AMD "3 for free" offer is now active for all 7950 & 7970 cards. You now get download vouchers for the following games.

*Dirt 3 Showdown
*Nexuiz
*Deus Ex

Should be worth a tenner or so each on the MM.

Seems to be working for them with the 680's anyway :)

Maybe start another thread rather than filling this one up.

Good deal! ordered one with the 10% discount voucher for £333.80

I was intending to wait for the GTX 670 coming out at the £300 price range anyway.

Should be a massive upgrade from my current 4890!

Maybe however if you read the description it's one code for all 3 games so you can't really sell them individually.

This is insanely tempting to replace my 5870....

I don't have a Facebook account though, if I create one will I receive a code?, I'd probably go for it if I do

Good stuff, 5UB has helped me out and got me a refund on the 10% coupon, many thanks for helping me out with that. Shame I hadn't waited a bit longer and found out for defo about what the coupon covered as I might have picked up one or two other bits, but happy enough with my 7970 - hopefully it comes tomorrow, good work guys!

Well, signed up on Facebook and liked the page, heres hoping ^ ^

Edit: 10% ended, bawwwwwwww typical..
