Marathon vs. Food

Does anyone know how much a 99p McDonalds cheeseburger weighs?

A mate of mine is suggesting I do a Marathon. I lol'ed. He then suggested I could eat 26 burgers instead.

I think this is actually possible. I would do it at the same pace as the Marathon giving me around 5 hours to eat 26 burgers. I was thinking of using the McDonalds saver menu cheeseburgers.

So I would like to know how much they weigh to work out what the total weight is (Adam Richman on Man vs Food seems to hit the wall between 4lb and 5lbs of food).

Anyone think this is possible?

i would imagine you'd be extremely sick after about 10 of them with all that salt/sugar entering your system.

most i've managed is about 6 and that made me wake up with epic dry mouth about 6/7 times during the night because of it

Google suggests a burger is 4oz, making 26 of them 6.5lbs of food....

Thats a mission.

Remember, on that man v food thing, he has 30mins or so to do it, if your taking more than 5 hours, that could be done easily imo.

it depends on the ratio of burger : hairs on a dog.

Don't forget as well that 1 McDonald burger is 20% fat so eating 5 of them will make it 100% fat !!!1111penguin.

Unless you are already a porky chubguts then you haver no chance of doing this. It's the bread that would fill you up. I did 7 when i was 16 and felt pretty horrid. Once you hit the wall it's game over.

Im thinking the best way would be to nom 13 in one go. Chill for 3 hours, then attempt another 13.

over 5 hours easily possible, ensure you have an empty stomach to start off with and make sure you chew each bite at least 20 times to aid digestion. Only drink water.

I reckon you might realistically be able to eat 15-17, but then you won't ever eat another for as long as you live!

Once you are full you will be full for a while. You will also feel very sick from the amount of fat in the burgers and the sugar in the bun. Would love to see you prove me wrong but i can't see it happening.
