Huawei Ascend G300

Have been looking for a cheapy and this looks like it'll do the job. Plus it looks like it runs a clocked 7227A (ARMv7), so it should handle Flash without any problems.

well maybe the orange monte carlo but this is better at pretty much everything bar the screen size im sure.. and then its only 0.3" + being ~20quid cheaper..
 
On the strength of this thread and the reading it prompted i've just highly recommended this phone to a mate who wanted to buy my Ace for £100, if he buys it I'll get back with some hands on experience.
 
Mine is still going strong, managed to scratch the screen though before my screen protector arrived, doh!

Using B888 rom, I just use Zeam launcher, its not got a huge amount of pretty effects or loads of different features but its the fastest launcher imo.
 
Does anyone know where to get the NFC version of this phone? I think the part number is U8818 or U8815N instead of U8815 (which is the non-NFC version sold by Vodafone).
 
I was going to buy one of these today but they're all showing out of stock (one place has usually dispatched within 1-3 months). Think I'll have to wait until they are a bit easier to get hold of.

Just tried it. Seemed much laggier than Go Launcher.
