As long as you can get a license then Arizona state law says it's fine. However:

So you have to be living in Arizona for 3 months for anyone to be able to sell you a gun. But after that if you have a hunting license then you can carry any machine gun you like concealed down your trousers wherever you like in Arizona liek a true American

Ah thats easy then. Live in Arizona for 90 days then apply for license. Then get a gun. Easy as 1 2 3. God Bless America.

You can easily modify a semi-auto into a full auto....but yes it's illegal unless you have a federal firearms permit

Living the is not enough, you have to be a legal resident, which means having a green card.

I live in the US and I am not allowed to own or operate a firearm.

It asks on the form when you buy one if you're a legal resident or not and if you lie its probably a felony. If the gun seller was suspicious they would call the police/ATF and then tell you there was a delay with the background checkl and have you wait there until the police came. Then you would probably get gang-raped the first night in county jail.

Someone above just said you just have to live in USA for 90 days. Then you can apply for fire arms license.

I found a gif of the OP

A concealed weapon permit is different than just buying a gun.

No concealed weapons permit required in the glorious state of Arizona:D

It should also be added that, AFAIK, you can NOT own automatic weapons under any circumstances. a 'machine gun' is not going to happen I'm afraid.

Well an AR-15 Assault rifle, same as an M-16 just semi-auto.

you can with a hunting license depending on the state.

No they didn't.

Try reading, also I would advise staying clear of guns, you'll probably blow your own face off if this thread is any judge of your intelligence. You don't want a gun for self defence, you want a gun because you think their cool.

You want to know how I know this?

I am planning to visit Arizona and would like to get few guns for personal safety.

Read that sentence back to yourself, if you don't realise how jaw droppingly stupid it sounds, you shouldn't be anywhere near a firearm.

Here is the exact info

A nonimmigrant alien is not prohibited from purchasing, receiving,
or possessing a firearm if the alien: (1) is in possession of a hunting license or
permit lawfully issued in the United States; (2) is an official representative of a
foreign government who is accredited to the United States Government or their
Government’s mission to an international organization having its headquarters in
the United States; or (3) has received a waiver from the prohibition from the
Attorney General of the United States. (See 18 U.S.C. § 922(y)(2) for additional
exceptions.) Persons subject to one of these exceptions should answer “yes” to
questions 12l and 13 and provide the documentation requested by question 18c.

Maybe you should go to Washington instead. They have a website that tells you how to do it.

http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/firearms/faalien.html

To get an alien firearms license, you must meet all of the following requirements:

* Be in the United States legally (passport and visa).
* Be a temporary resident alien of Washington State (visa).
* Have no pending trial, appeal, or sentencing on a charge that would prohibit you from having a license.
* Have no outstanding warrants for any charge, from any court.
* Have no court order or injunction against possessing a firearm.
* Have never been adjudicated mentally defective or incompetent to manage your own affairs.
* Have never been committed to a mental institution.
* Have no felony convictions.
* Within the past year, haven’t been an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana, depressants, stimulants, narcotics, or any other controlled substance.
* Haven’t been convicted of 3 or more violations of Washington’s firearms laws within any 5-year period.
* Haven’t been dishonorably discharged from the armed forces.
* Aren’t currently subject to a court order restraining you from harassing, stalking, or threatening your child, an intimate partner, or the child of an intimate partner.
* Have no convictions for any of the following crimes committed by one family member against another:
o Assault in the fourth degree
o Coercion
o Stalking
o Reckless Endangerment
o Criminal Trespass in the first degree
o Violation of the provisions of a protection order or no-contact order restraining the person or excluding the person from the residence

You can own machine guns, you have to pay a special tax that takes several months to process.
