Yeah im sure it will be fine on release, particularly multi GPU support. LOTRO doesnt support multi GPU and IIRC GW1 doesnt either.
GW1 is using both my GPUs equally, I checked right now in afterburner.

I thought it had the same performance ( very poor) from last years eurogamer in oct and didn't seem improved from the last beta, quite suprised that they spent that long and stll never solved it
This is discouraging... one of the biggest requirements for a mass-market MMO that aims for any sort of popularity is obviously an engine that scales very well.
This is taken from the horses mouth, i'm posting it for the second time too:
Well optimisation is the final stage.....
Very true but betas aren't really betas these days are they (well bar Firefall) and are more demos.
True...but these Beta weekends will feed data back to the devs to help them optimise further......if it came out still optimised poorly then id be dissapointed.
http://cloudfront.guildwars2.com/client/Gw2.exeWhere do I download the beta from currently?
I use my own email. Shouldn't have to use anything else.I should be receiving my pre order pack tomorrow, will I have to use the bloody awful @NCsoft as my login or do you get to use just your email?
Yes.Will I be able to earn the GW1 rewards once GW2 has launched (i.e. finish off a few HoM once GW2 is launched?).
I think they do, https://account.guildwars2.com/login NCsoft still control master accounts, but registering your copy should link your GW1 to GW2.Finally, do ArenaNet have their own site for account management or is it that horrendous NCSoft site which makes me want to die?
So would I and I dearly hope it won't but SWTOR did but I expect that was because PVP was a complete afterthought for them along with a whole shed of other stuff. I am confident they can do it another beta I am in can cram 200 people in an area I don't see why they can't.
Thanks for posting that info earlier about getting the most out of the beta, some interesting stuff there.
I really like that GW2 will have Dynamic Events but they will be not be comparable to a 25-40 man raid.
Ive spent a lot of time playing Rift which had both and being mostly a player who runs around solo the Dynamic Events were ideal.. I could jump in and get involved with whats going on and leave without needing to speak to anyone.
Because a dynamic event is so casual they end up needing to be easy when you have just a random mix of people with very average gear/experience/ability. While they make dynamic events compensate for there being more players in an area by making the event more difficult they will also take into consideration some people are just going to stand around and not help out at all. There is no good balance other than making dynamic events a little too easy.
And have you already played GW2 to conclude that it is easy, or are you simply spreading the same rumors as just about every other raid fan?
Video reviews of the earlier betas I have watched have said that GW2 is a pretty difficult game to play, and there's very little you will be able to beat unless you learn how to play the game well.
