Basingstoke! I know where you are!
Wow took me 2 watches to get what happened there lol... at first I thought you were just slow reacting.
Of course there was, however, if I was fixated on the car in front and someone did cut me up from my immediate left or someone jumped the red also on the left then I would get flamed for not anticipating or for looking.
Loose, loose. I am not perfect, and neither is she, or anyone for that matter.
If only there was a video which showed where my eyes were looking so some could better understand.
She's also changing lanes without indicating so in that fact alone she's breaking the law. I think there are quite a few mitigating circumstances here that make her liable for some form of reprimand. She is quite frankly driving dangerously and I would suspect that it would be treated the same, unfortunately though any rear end impact would still be in your court I think.
I'm not buying this.
At the 7 second mark you should now be looking forward.
At the 8.5 second mark you should be semi-braking
At 9 you should be heavier onto the brakes.
You really slam on the brakesat 10.
As an expert driver, youtube video watcher, crash investigator and racing driver it is clear that
At the 4.1 second mark you should have breathed in deeply.
At the 5 second mark your left hand should have been further towards the centre of the steering wheel.
At the 7.3 second mark you should now be looking forward.
At the 8.5 second mark you should be semi-hard braking
At the 8.9 second mark you should be banging you head furiously up and down to the sick drop in the music
At 9 you should be around 84% onto the brakes.
You really slam on the brakes at 10, this is an error, clearly if you were an expert like me you would have done it at at least 9.4.
At 9.3 seconds you should have breathed out to help exert extra pressure through the leg on the brake pad, you did not do this.

Please look up the definition of dangerous driving. Also, indicating is not a legal requirement.
Source: http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_to_r/...guidance_on_prosecuting_cases_of_bad_driving/Dangerous Driving: Definition of dangerous driving (Archbold 32-27) (Wilkinson 5.03).
A person drives dangerously when the way his standard of driving falls far below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver and it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving in that way would be dangerous.
Both parts of the definition must be satisfied for the driving to be "dangerous" within the meaning of the Act. (Section 2A(1) RTA 1988).
Careless/inconsiderate driving
This offence is committed when the defendant's driving falls below the standard expected of a competent and careful driver (section 3ZA RTA). In determining what is to be expected of a competent and careful driver the prosecutor must take into account not only the circumstances of which the driver could be expected to be aware, but also any circumstances shown to have been within the driver's knowledge.
The test of whether the standard of driving has fallen below the required standard is objective. It applies both when the manner of driving in question is deliberate and when it occurs as a result of incompetence, inadvertence or inexperience.
The maximum penalty is a level 5 fine. The court must also either endorse the driver's licence with between 3 and 9 penalty points (unless there are 'special reasons' not to do so), or impose disqualification for a fixed period and/or until a driving test has been passed.
Yup, black dam roundabout.
The Oakridge and Aldermaston roundabout are just as bad, every time I go around them I'm driving with an expectation that someone is going to drive into the side of me.
Am I the only person that sees a car trying to leapfrog at the roundabout swerve in front of the OP without indicating and slam the brakes on for no reason? every one seems to be acting like he is a fault here
If the had been an accident the highway code would have sided with the OP.
