If you're looking at HD-25s then DT 1350 might also be worth looking at since they're basically the same sort of thing

There's a Beats listening station in my local HMV. I worked my way through the entire full sized headphone collection. My general impression is that they should make excellent sub -£60 headphones.

At the prices they sell for - not so much...

Purely based on audio quality, I'd put them as sub £30 personally, which is why I still class them as fashion accessories not proper headphones.
