Using theses with i5 200k if I want to use the 1600mhz do I have to run them at 1.65v? if so isn't this ment to be bad for sandy bridge, so how would I get 1600mhz whille keeping safe voltage.

Thanks

Thanks guys Am waitting on delivery for ram, tuesday should get it. My corsair Ram at the moment is giving mt thousands off errors in memtest and am getting random BSOD. Also not downloading files correct its just tuck me 6 trys to get serious sam 3 downloaded. not good lol

Thanks but people still saying 1.6 is bad ??? am so confused

Up to 1.60V is OK according to a reliable source, see sig :)

I'd be very surprised if you couldn't get the Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey running at its rated speed and timings with 1.60V or less.

The easiest way is to enable the XMP profile in the BIOS and then just set the DRAM voltage manually.

Start with 1.55V.

If the RAM runs fine at that then you can just leave it or try and tweak it down a little further if you wish.

If it doesn't run properly at 1.55V then you can increase it a touch but try not to go over 1.60V.

Thanks will do.

Have you tried setting up your Corsair RAM that way assuming it's the 1.65V stuff?

its the 1600mhz 9,9,9,24 at 1.5v once i run memtest i get thousands of errors right from the get go.
am guessing it dont like my motherboard? has its not on asrocks list.

I have heard about it could be vcore is to low but i dont understand what it should be set to.

thanks again.

Once I tuck second ram out tried again same result.

manually set the timings, voltage, speed of the ram in the bios what the factory have listed for the memory, look to see what voltage is on the memory controller...

I had done all that mate, I did think about testing one stick at a time tho lol. resonse I already went and ordered more ram is because I googled the BSOD error and all the ones that had solved required replacing the ram.

The good news its a cheap fix, but I dont understand how this happened. Ram tested once first built the PC tested fine.
