***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Galaxy Nexus with a home button then (and considerably better specs :p).

I wonder if the back will be something a bit nicer than run of the mill plastic? Hope so.

I feel like with one drop, the ceramic casing would crack like no other...
is that technology somehow super dense tough ceramic or something?

You realise it's not the same ceramic that you drink your tea off etc? :p It's the same method HTC use with their ceramic material.

So it's basically the phone that's been posted already, without the dummy corners.

I'm okay with this.

Smaller? With a screen .2" bigger? :P But yeah I guess the bezel etc are closer to teh scren so the phone itself may well be smaller width wise!

Oh dear I actually assumed it would be a smaller screen - the Nexus is too big imo. Anyway its basically a Nexus design, lets hope its not a cheap looking plastic again (I suspect (well, more hope!) it wont be this time).

I'm thinking of trading in my iPhone 4S 32GB and a few other handsets for this. I love my iPhone and it does what I want it to do great but the tech bit in me gets bored with all gadgets easily. I've had Android phones in the past but never as my main handset so I fancy something different until my upgrade with O2 is due next April. I'm getting a bit bored of the iOS home screen and recently I've realised how useful live widgets are such as bus and train times.

I don't even know the specs yet and I already want it! Quite like the experience I had with my iPhone! I know the HTC One X is out and I have always found my previous HTCs to be great phones (ie. HTC Hero) but there's something about Samsung being 'the' Android brand to have these days.

Samsung Galaxy S 3 will launch in Blue and White

We received an anonymous tip that the Carphone Warehouse inventory system lists the Samsung Galaxy S 3 in two color versions. In other Galaxy S 3 news, Unwire HK got their hands on a screen protector meant for the upcoming Samsung Android flagship, which reveals its screen size.

The snap from the inventory system of the large retailer Carphone Warehouse suggests that the Galaxy S 3 will be available in two colors at launch - Blue and White. Has Samsung abandoned its typical black color?

Assuming this is accurate, it would fall in line with the press release picture which has a blue and white blob, likely for the ceramic back if it has one. This:

I hope the front matches, or will it resemble this...

The blue colour does look quite nice. I'm not sure which colour I'd choose but as I said in previous posts my number one worry is the screen durability.

White might show scuff marks sooner so blue for me and that brushed look looks cool!
