As you guys may/not know i go to college, and on a level 2 plumbing course. I got told today to go in the store room and get a long weight and a left handed screwdriver. Now i must have given him every single screwdriver i found and none of them was left handed :mad:

And I couldent find the long weight i needed for the radiotors. I was searching for atleast 30 minutes asking other people where are the long weights in the store room. THey said they will have a look but i never saw them again. Then it was time to go home and i couldent find my tutor so i said sod this im going home. what is/a long wieght look like?
 
Did they also ask for some ice making liquid and tartan paint? or a bucket of steam, that was a favourite of ours when I worked at a swimming pool.

oh mah dayz i just got it !!!! HE MADE ME WAIT ALL THAT TIME AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A left handed screwdriver !! LOOOOOOOOOOOOL oh mah gawd i got a 50 year old troll plumber AMAZING!
 
To be fair, you did get your long wait and now you know what you are looking for you should be able to get hold of a screwdriver suitable for a left-hander.

Also, while you are at it, you may as well look for a pipe-stretcher for later.
 
Glass hammer?

When I was in the Navy I came up a ladder to see a young guy shiny his torch at one of the luminous escape stickers on the floor. I asked what he was doing and he said he was charging up the escape stickers so they would glow in the dark when needed!

Made me lol a bit inside but I felt bad for him so I suggested he go get a big boy flood lamp to charge the stickers instead of his puny torch!

I was amused
 
go and see the motor man and tell him to put some steam in the boilers

go and get the key to the V door

go to the engine room for a long stand

ask the crane op for some tighter shackles

etc etc

Many years ago I was in Homebase working and someone asked me for denim paint. I laughed and told them they'd been had and it was a practical joke.

A few weeks later I found it on the shelf...
 
I had something done on me at work experience, I had to go to the storeroom and get something but it wasn't there. Can't remember what it was though.
