Hi Gibbo
Wondering if you can help as I am still having lots of problems getting 3D on all 3 monitors at once.
I purchased 2 of the Startech adapters to go into a Sapphire 7950 as you said that would help getting the 3D in eyefinity
and no matter what the DVI connected monitor will always loose sync with the glasses after about 10 mins or so.
If that doesn't happen it will start suffering from what looks like slowdown or the center screen will start doubling/ghosting badly.
Instead of playing games I'm just sat swapping between different pairs of glasses trying to connect them to all three again
I also constantly get Display Port Error messages which requires either a restart of the monitors or PC.
I've tried everything:
Different orders of connections
Different 3D modes
Setting preferred screen in CCC
Checking 3D on each monitor alone which works fine
Tuning of Wi-Fi on Router.
Different USB ports for adapters
And loads more..
I had help from Tridef and they mentioned having syncing problems and replied
"It works perfectly fine with two monitors but as soon as a third display is added, this display is out of sync.
According to AMD
all 3 displays must be connected via DisplayPort to ensure spot on syncing."
How is it possible to get them all on DP as every ATI card I have seen only has two Mini-DP ports.
Would it mean I have to purchase another card AND another Startech adapter?
I did plan on getting another card in the future but I really don't want to have to get another adapter especially after all the Display Port Problems.
I'm not sure this is really a "3D & Eyefinity enabled" monitor as I think it should have DP ports if it was.
And if so I'm not sure it's all worth keeping all 3 which is a shame as when it works its amazing
I know you had 3D working on all 3 was that in a game with the Tridef software or just in a movie? Also how where you connecting glasses and monitors?
My full specs are
i7 2600
120Gb M4 ssd
Asus P8H67-M PRO
16gb Corsair Ram
Sapphire HD7950
Hope you can help
Thanks
