My 2011 N9 has this feature! (burst mode built in)
 
Early benchmarks indicate the Exynos is quicker than the Tegra and Krait but they are sparse at the minute and there isn't a big difference (5500 to 5000~).

For the camera yeah you can but the problem is if you use other camera apps you will then loose the features of the sense camera such as the burst mode, instant shutter, slow motion video recording etc. plus I don't know how the dedicated image processing chip would work with a 3rd party camera app? I imagine this will be the same with the GS 3, however, I am sure apps will have these features sometime in the future.

I like the very clean minimal UI of the sense camera, don't have anything that "gets" in the way of the item that you are taking a pic/video off if you know what I mean :p

This is good for the next generation. Maybe they'll get off their butts and work on their design and technology for the next one. It looks like the success of the S II made them lazy.

It's just like the problem HTC had with the Desire. The Desire HD and Sensation weren't good enough and Samsung took the lead with the S2.

Then HTC did some fantastic work and popped up with the One series and they are back level with them.

I give credit where it is deserved, see the GS 2 and GN thread when they were released ;)

The reason I say what you quoted is because it annoys me when apple owners think "OMG, this new evolutionary feature" e.g. notification bar and siri yet android has had those features for ages now, since 1.5 and 2.1!

And now the exact same is happening with the GS 3, features that have been in android mobiles for the last 2 or so weeks etc. So not really that unique, surely?

I'll be gobsmacked if it doesn't have a moderate lead in every benchmark, I've always thought Sammy do well designed processors..

Not that it has an effect in real usage, the T3's biggest issue IMO is that it's got lots of software optimisation issues as it's a single supplier chipset and they just don't seem to have it as well developed as the Power VR / Mali / Adreno stuff..

"Eww" at first.. few months later "meh its alright" a year later "i quite like this" :D i wont lie i dont like the glossy finish and i will never buy a white phone again :) so if i ever come to decision to get it i will get in marble blue.. over all im not disappointed by any means it looks like a great phone and it will be a good competitor to the ONE X :)

lol the 1 series will always be ugly as sin!
 
I am wondering what some people were expecting, I don't really see what more they could have done. We all knew it would be a quad a9 not krait cores, the screen and the rest of the specs are at the top end of what's currently available, it seems about all you could reasonably expect.
 
So wheres everyone ordering from?

£499 from carphone, I've got one reserved at another website ( not sure if i can sell) but gota wait and see what the price is gona be like
