It's not that though, it's more the fact that they've taken the design in the direction of the Galaxy Ace rather than something new, which is just poor.
Thats very true of the back - front looks good to me - not outstanding though.

.......
would you be happier if the phone did not have the features ? it better have them even if they are copied of other makethis is what pushes them to invent something else!
Those benchmarks look good! Be good to see a video comparing the S and GS 3 for real world performance in general usage now!

Most of this thread was people looking forward to a fresh design and it's really not.
Benchmarks are looking good though, it should be as fast as expected.
You've been sucked into the hype too much - there isn't a weak point on the S3?
It all comes down to personal preference - this phone is **** hot all thing considered.
Yeah agree with the pentile as with the one S screen, it really isn't an issue, it is noticeable when you have white text on black background though.
But it is just surprising from Samsung as to why they didn't use RGB matrix insteadespecially when the X screen is jaw dropping overall.
Do you not think the eye tracking will hamper the battery life though, it will be constantly tracking your eyes etc. of course you will probably be able to turn this feature off though, right?
Of course it is great that they have the features, but it would have been nice if they came up with other features or something else as well, instead of just "copying" what HTC have done and showing it off as if they came up with the features first, which is exactly what Apple do.
Wait, what.......how does it make them invent something else if they just copy other phones features![]()
Look at Apple and android, apple haven't really invented anything, just simply taken an idea and polished it up a bit and make it out as if it is brand new and they came up with it

Its a bit Galaxy S looking
Whats this wireless charging then?
Anone with a CPW pre-order get any inclination if you were in the first 1000 orders?
You have to buy a wireless charging dock and then you place the phone on it, and it charges... slowly.
No prices yet though.
I think any speed differences between the S/X and 3 are going to be negligible at best.
For speed the X has eaten everything I've thrown at it for breakfast, despite the Tegra 3 not being the best around.
But then, so did the Galaxy S 2... we're really hitting a performance roof now as to what will actually benefit you in the real world.

Implementing quick shooting and HDR is hardly copying - it's natural progression and elements bought along with ICS API's.
That GPU does look mighty.
