What?!
It really isn't!
- better camera overall for quality and features (although GS 2 has better 1080P video recording quality)
- sense is far better than touchwiz (touchwiz has got some neat tricks under the bonnet though but the UI is god awful IMO)
- better audio
- better screen
- better battery life (out of the box)
- MUCH better perceived quality as well as build quality and looks (personal preference the looks though)
- much much better processor as well as a better GPU
- faster and smoother out of the box overall
- notification LED (although pretty poor, but better than nothing)
Only advantages GS 2 has is storage and better battery life if you get the extended battery, as well as better support at xda and the durability possibly, the one s hasn't been properly tested for durability though.

Just noticed in those pics there that you have to open menus to select burst mode, so 3 clicks to turn that mode on (possibly another click on the return button to get the full screen back) where as on the one series/sense V4 you just hold the camera button down and that is it, that is something that the earlier sense versions did, have loads of sub menus to get to the features/settings you want
EDIT:
It actually looks better and more polished than the previous touchwiz, but I personally would have preferred a black theme throughout. Still not as good as sense V4 or stock ICS overall though IMO

The one s is good.but it is not top end by any means.

Firstly you have placed the 4s by the GS 2? The 4s is in the same level as the s3, and one x..........
I hate apple, probably more than anyone here but you can't deny hardware wise etc. it is great especially the GPU. The only thing that lets it down is screen size.
And how is the S not high end? You need to back that up with some evidence or facts and most importantly why you think that
Apart from the screen, storage and no NFC (and those last 3 points really aren't an issue for a lot of people) it is is better than the X, the processor is better as we have seen in benchmarks of the X and XL as well as the batt. etc. the GPU difference isn't huge.

ip4s comparable to one x and s3 how so? Am genuinely intrigued by the thinking behind this.
The screen is great quality, still slightly better for sharpness than the X and colours. You have to give apple credit for their displays that they use. Why do you think so many people use mac displays for editing etc.
Performance it wins some and looses some just like it is with the X, S and GS 3 in benchmarks.
Battery life is very good as well, better than GS 2, GN and on par with the one S IIRC, again considering the screen res. etc. that is pretty good results.
Build quality and perceived quality is better than the GS 2 by a country mile! Better than the GS 3 no doubt as well and better than the X IMO.
Audio is better than the GS 2.
Camera and video recording is also just as good as them all as well, some shots look much better than all the mobiles and on the other devices some shots look better than the 4s

look here at benchmark results for both the 4s, GS 3, GS 2, One S (international), X (international) and the one x (AT&T), which is the best of the S and X, has the X screen and the S processor, GPU etc. so will be a fairer comparison as the screen res. is 720P.http://www.anandtech.com/Show/Index...slug=samsung-galaxy-s-iii-performance-preview

Able to preorder on O2 now but only as an upgrade for Pay Monthly or Business customers.
