I've not actually tried a One S. As I said in the One X thread a few weeks back I did play with an X and didn't like the super light polycabornate casing compared to the reassuringly weightly all metal design of the Sensation.

Which is annoying as I like HTC, am almost out of contract and would love to get something shiney and new. I just dont like anything :(

Have you heard of qualiweights™?

Maybe you need to make a compromise. Super phones like these aren't going to take a step back to the heavy weight bulk of the Sensation days because nobody in the majority wants that any more. Phones like the One X look and feel premium but just don't have that weight any more which is the best of both worlds IMO in the modern age where everyone is waltzing in all directions constantly on the move and always wanting to carry light but powerful items with them to do their business on.

They're only going to get thinner and lighter too but I have a feeling the iPhone 5 will follow a similar trend but in a more exotic way though by using metallic (but light weight) materials.

Sounds expensive :p

Nexus, I checked out the One S as well and to me it seemed overshadowed by its bigger brother - In exactly that notion I felt as if the S was the teenager of the group, not as professional/military looking like the One X but still decent. Going by the pictures, the S3 is neither, it's just neutral in design and only offends the diehards (it seems). Marmite 101.

Get one x wrap it in bmw leather and you got a winner? Seriously you need to have one for a few days to decide if you like the quality

I think if Fox gave it a week he'd come around to the idea of the One X and possibly enjoy the design and feel of it. There's also all of the benefits it has over the Sensation as well which will help him feel more at home. :p

sorry where did you get £1463? also it's an 18 month contract.. the 19.99 is a one off cost btw so I make it £757.99?

At that price it's about the same as paying £500 and £15 a month on 3 and £90 more than a £10 GiffGaff bag, what's the data on your deal.

I'm gona hold out till I can get it for about £400 for an import, but £5/6 a month for what looks like an amazing phone is not much of a hurdle.

Good call on the phone, slightly envious :D
