Probably wouldn't make much of a difference it you didn’t.
If I had a One X I'd prob be in the same boat, as is the only thing stopping me ordering an S3 off 3 is the fact that I don't like contracts because of the time factor and buying out of a one plan one year in would be prohibitive.
Now all my ego needs is some creative thinking and it gets the thing it wants, hmmm..... Of course!! The sale of the S3 pays for any necessary buy outs, is that correct or is my greed tricking me.

Also I notice the HTC trait in videos whereby metering increments can be seen in steps as light meets dark in the centre of the frame, this has been an issue on all HTC phones to date and is very annoying especially if you've come from a Samsung phone which has smooth metering on all video modes.

I still can't understand their colour choice. I'd love to know which executive went into the board meeting and proposed making it in two non-neutral colours. The blue is far too prominent and the white just looks like a 3GS.

It looks metal having seen the high res pics of it, I imagine it is metal too for structural purposes.

Look at the glistening from the camera flash lighting on the silver, looks almost certainly metal. The plastic brushed bits have a different look as well.

Would like to see what nice covers are going to come out and how the fit in with the colour schemes. Something to match the white for me hopefully.
But I've got my GalaxyS in front of me now, thinking of replacing it brings a tear to my eye, but excited about the performance jump!

Yup unfortunately that problem is still there
Although it seems better than previous HTC handsets but still no where near the video recording quality of Samsung's phones. Hoping that HTC will fix it in a software patch/update at some point....... but doubt that will ever happen Maybe a custom ROM might improve/fix it........Same boat with da Note.
The S3 may be the first phone I buy in white in the hope of getting an aluminium back book form cover in an appealing colour, FFS how gay is that!!
What is this Aluminum that the spell checker tried to insist I use.
You have "English (US)" spell check enabled instead of "English (UK)"
Americans spell/pronounce "Aluminium" as "Aluminum" and we spell/pronounce it the proper way

I know, I was just trying to make light to cover my embarrassment at spoiling myself outrageously by buying this and almost certainly keeping my Note if I get Quidco and topcash discounts
Look ahem a bit more embarrassment I just had a mouse fumble in the bottom right corner of my screen and now what I, no doubt erroneously, call the system tray is down the left side of my monitor, how do I put this back on the bottom, I find it disconcerting out of the corner of my eye. Thanks in advance.
