A point is better than no points but if we could defend remotely competently we should have taken all three. At home against a newly promoted side... unforgiveable.

Arteta is so important to Arsenal because he will use his experience and intelligence to sit back when Song goes forward leaving the defence exposed. Without him the Arsenal defence has no proper protection and as a result get pulled all over the place.

Just afaik disappeared straight down the tunnel. It's usual for Arsenal players/manager to walk around and applaude the fans at last home game of the season. I'm not sure if he shook Lamberts hand or just ran off like a complete ***** or not.

He's not that important because he's not fantastically brilliant as a DM< he's just hugely better than Song at it.
We'd be a better team if Arteta played in Song's role, Tiote/similar type in Arteta's role, and Song played in Denilon's role(as in, on another continent).
