Tottenham fan here. Lennon is not a better player than Nani, it's ludicrous to think so. He is a very good player who works well in the system spurs play with two out and out wingers (when bale sticks to the left). Nani is far more versatile than Lennon, and can player a number of positions, whereas Lennon is a wide right player and nothing else.
On the subject of Bale, he has the potential to be world class. However I feel under Redknapp his potential will never be realised. It is plain to see by everyone bar Redknapp that he should stick to the left. Bar some terrible opposition he is totally ineffectual in central positions. With the guidance from a manager with any sense I feel he could become a top player and better than anything Utd have, he would also be a great fit for Utd. I wish tottenham would find another manager but to get rid of Redknapp and find a replcement would cost a bomb and Levy is the ultimate penny pincher.
He has a decent number of assists and goals this season, DM will point to the lack of goals against top teir teams, but I think this is more a result of Tottenhams general ability to match good opposition. We find it easy to steamroll rubbish defences. Our poor defence is exposed against decent attacks, as the this season by Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal away and City illustrate.
