I always think world class should mean you're a player capable of doing things most others cannot thus for me the only genuine world class players are probably Messi, Ronaldo & Xavi, I realise though that not many share that opinion and thus name any lets say top tier player as world class.

Put it this way if we've got a Spurs supporter on here saying Vidic is world class (and presumably feels Modric is as well) then yes Rooney is world class.

Pains me to say it, but never a truer word spoken! They deserved to go down! It's a relief now, least I know :(

In my opinion I doubt you'll ever see us back in the PL.
 
LOL oh dear Blackburn going down...cant say i wont miss them but i do feel sorry for the fans for the utter tripe they have played, the manager Kean, who im still boggled as to why hes still there and most of all the owners who have been happy to sit back and watch this club go down without a fight.

They'll be back, I see them doing a Wednesday....just possibly over a longer period. Whether they're back in this iteration of the PL is another question as well.
 
Blackburn shouldn't have been so negative against Spurs and they might not have needed to win tonight.

A season in the Championship might do them good like it did with Newcastle, or they'll probably end up like Pompey if it's true about them being skint. :(

You'd be correct about the statement in bold if the owners ever watched the games, which they don't.

As someone said earlier, the far more likely scenario is Jerome Anderson and Kean simply call them up and say, yeah we won!
 
Gutted for the Blackburn fans. :( They don't deserve this. Congratulations to Wigan who have been excellent in the last 8 games or so, but you have to feel that the Premiership will be missed far more in Blackburn than it would have been in Wigan.

Im sure they saw Blackburn beat us earlier in the season but since then i havent seen them at any games. Didnt your manager and a few players go over to India to see the Venky empire??.

But seriously its a shame to see Blackburn go down, i remember when you guys won the title with Shearer...such a long time ago:(

Shame how far Blakcburn have fell.

Doubt we will see them again as they don't manage much of an attendance as it is and with the financial woes it could be down down down for them unfortunately :(

On the plus side I can give my old Blackburn supporting flatmate some serious gip now :D

They have been poor for a long time, Wigan went on 9 games losing, then turned it around, table does not lie Wigan are on 40 points, Blackburn players have been poor and the manager was terrible.
