The Sony "Hayabusa" Thread

Interesting, it isn't made from aluminium like the Ion or P. :( Look's like a big Xperia Ray maybe? but those pics are too crappy for any real speculation :D

June/July will be a bit too soon for the S4 Pro and Sony don't want to release a phone with more GPU power than the Vita just yet... do they?

8.6mm at the thinnest part so not quite the thinnest phone to date and no the 7mm people were suspecting!

Yep, a bit boring but safe design. Wonder if they'll even release it in the UK?

Thickness and weight are fine, maybe a bit too wide (for me) and those tiny Jap buttons again :p Is there a SD card slot?

What was I saying about.....Sony find a way to semi-screw things up. I honestly can't understand how leaving an SD card slot seems a good idea considering how little space they take.

All the more reason I need a few £million so I can create a smartphone startup that only builds phones aimed at stock Android or custom CM builds. Nothing is locked from the factory and camera modules can be upgraded by the user.

Can you imagine it?

I can, and it makes me sad panda :(

I can't imagine it...
I know people that do startups...and always are looking for new ones...
but not sure that your idea would work...

I think it would work.

Haven't you seen how blogs and forums light up when a leaked screenshot shows what appears to be a stock Android build?

That and a modular handset would mean people can upgrade just the new bits that come out if they like the shape of the phone and want to keep that!

Kind of like a barebones for phones.

My idea is from experience of Android since day 1 and being a member of those blogs and forums that talk about them.
