Just got my CE from gamestop Woot!
Installing now!
LOL, D's skull is magnetic to hold the USB in. I can totally tie this into my Computer Platforms assignment...it has a section on USB.
Only slightly oddity...two guest passes to WoW???
But lovely box and stuff.

I know! What am I like? Lack of sleep playing DD until 2:30am after finishing an assignment off
What I meant was 'Hey Bliz, this is silly and unnecssessary, just wait while I test Beta's for other, smaller studio games that might actually tempt me away from your product.' Which could happen anyway. Really I am saying I think that given the servers aren't live to me...what the heck is the point in preventing installation from the disk in my hand....but letting me download 7.3GB....a chunk of the actual game, I presume...having registered my key?

They've said that you'll be able to install on the 14th ready for launch.

The sooner people can access the game files the sooner people will datamine and post everything around the internet, and worse hack and copy the game. By doing it the day before people will just wait for release to find out/play the game

They want to keep the game assets encrypted until the last minute. As soon as people install the game, there will be people picking through the files for spoilers and information.
