Yep, got a dye kit from the dentist, had to get a mould made for my teeth, cost £300 in total, it does make a difference. When this bleach stuff runs out, I'm gona look into the Crest Strips everyone keeps mentioning

Just get some retainers £300 and then get the carbarmide peroxide gel off the internet.

If you must know, no, but I've never felt the need to, I've used the whitening toothpaste occasionally, but since people tell me it's had no effect it's probably a placebo more than anything else...

Well I never used to see that all your posts were negative in tone, but that's how they tend to come across. Whether that actually bothers you is another issue entirely!
If they rebuilt it then they match it to the colour your tooth is at the time and it stays that colour. These kits will not do anything to it and likely make it look worse as they will work on the real tooth. I'm sure the forum dentist guy will be on soon and maybe he'll explain it better.
Edit: I read it again and I think I misunderstood. The bit you had repaired is lighter not darker right?

Sounds toxic, I don't wanna mess my teeth and burn my mouth by getting these kits. I need to look into a bit more.

The woman that does mine is a cow.
She calls me by my first name and refers to herself as Mrs Whateveritis. Then she proceeds to hurt me. I let the name thing go the first time it happened, and now it's too late to be indignant about it. Add to that I'm older than her, better paid, better qualified and better educated I don't feel I should be getting my first name and her by surname.
Does it hurt when your brother does it? Or does my nasty witch of a hygienist hurt me on purpose?

It's fine if you get the proper retainers made and they mould around your teeth. Only thing you can get is a little tooth sensitivity, it won't burn your mouth.
The hygenist we have had for years has recently left.
For years we have had to suffer a lot of pain, bleeding and a thoroughly unpleasant experience from getting a clean and descale.
I was thoroughly shocked by the new lady, absolutely - no - pain - whatsoever. I cannot believe the difference.

Cool I''' look into the kit that was recommended on the last page. When I get a scale and polish done at the dentist that isn't the same as getting your teeth lightened. Teeth whitening costs something like £200 iirc.

that price is pretty much for the custom retainers. They are expensive.
