What film did you watch last night?

It wasn't bad, just didn't grab me.

Anyway last night:-

Tyrannosaur - Paddy Considine's first directed film about a self destructive loner who strikes up a friendship with Olivia Coleman as a charity shop worker with more than enough of he own problems. Very moving and gripping film, well made and acted. 4/5

Over the weekend I watched The Grey, Man on a Ledge and This Means War. All 3 were ok, but none of them were particularly great... Don't think I would watch any of them again in a hurry.

I watched Man on a Ledge other day aswell, last night err think I was watching The Bone Collector before I dozed off, not sure.

Saw LOTR again. Such an awesome and emotional trilogy. Unbeatable.

Indeed but after reading the books then watching it again not too long ago...i have to say they left a lot of the book out of the trilogy. I can see why they did as it would have made the trilogy a lot longer but there were major bits missing ie Tom Bombadil for a start.

Hope that the Hobbit stays true to the book but i have a feeling it wont unfortunately:(.

I have been in a poker tournament most of the day, so I put the Spiderman trilogy on whilst playing. Thinking about it, I actually think Spiderman 2 is my favourite superhero movie ever. Sam Raimi is on absolute top form in that film. He is clearly having the time of his life!
Not so keen on the ending, in fact I think it is awful, but there are so many little touches in it which wouldn't have looked out of place in Evil Dead which really made me smile. 3 is pap though

And this is from someone who doesn't really like any Marvel characters, but loves DC!

Planes, Trains & Automobiles.

Oh my god, I haven't laughed at a film like that in such a long time, Candy & Martin at their best, such a brilliant film and one of my all time favourites.

10/10.

Shame
I am a big fan of Fassbender so thought I would give this a try. I think I liked it... was a bit strange, and didn't explain a whole lot really so I was left to make my own mind up on a few plot points. Pretty strong film.

They changed loads, but there's no way they could have included everything. The films would have been awful if they were as involved as the books.

The Woman in Black.

I watched it downstairs by myself with all the lights off at 1AM.

Thought it was excellent, a really good horror film. 8/10

Tonight = Shame on Blu-ray.

Over the weekend I watched The Grey, Man on a Ledge and This Means War.

Why would you do this to yourself :o

I quite like Fassbender as an actor as well. Not a fan of his willy though. . . :p
