Hi, just wanted to ask should i swap my ps3 slim 320gb with 3 games for xbox 360 slim 250gb? And does any one know who would like to swap in the area of Stevenage-Letchworth ?

Should you? Only you can tell that. Do you have the games you want on ps3 or are they xbox only? what do your friends play on line?

Well yes, Motorsport forza 4 and The Witcher.
And more of my friends have xbox`s.
But as i said do u know any one who might swap?

It depends, if your friends all play on 360 and you prefer the games then buy it. It's not a difficult decision to make. They're so cheap these days that you might as well just have both.

Well a PS3 slim with 3 games would be worth more money than an Xbox 360 Slim with no games. So I would actually say no, I wouldnt do a straight swap.

I believe you'd get a better deal exchanging at a place like CEX. As you would cover the console cost with just the PS3, plus have left over funds for games.(Atleast I would expect that to be the case)

And you'd also get a warranty with the store

Do you want to pay for your online service?
Do you want intrusive advertising even when you're paying said online service?
Do you want no good exclusives this year?
Do you want to not have a blu ray player?

Then go for it.

Do u want to buy a motor racing game which will always be inferior to Sony's offering?

IMO Xbox used to only be worth it for controllers that don't give you mandible claws after more than 2 hours gaming, more secure online network with better servers but more annoying Americans with headsets and halo.

i have both, ps3 launch system still going strong (getting a bit louder now tho lol) and an old style xbox!

i prefer the PS3's interface as the latest xbox one is just too much! its probably one of those things that once you get used to it then its fine.

i use the PS3 more but i do have the same issue as you mate, all my friends have xbox's so online im a bit of a lone wolf and on Starhawk thats proving a bit of a disadvantage as theres an awesome game but it requires communication to fully enjoy online imo!

the Xbox has some great games and the third party multiplayer ones i always get for xbox just due to the online with friends etc however! the ps3 has soo much out now and a fair few exciting projects in the near future that if i had to make the choice you are making, i would keep my ps3.

my Xbox gets little to no use anymore but i dunno why! i may get max payne on there so i can play with my buddy's but these days its all personal preferance like i really prefer the feel and weight of the dual shock ps3 controller as the xbox one feels weird to me, but then the next guy will say the opposite!

xbox requires additional; costs as some mentioned above, to play online leave urself like £40 for a year of live (its a great service IF you take advantage of all the other bits your paying for), rechargable battery pack for the wireless controller will be needed or use a wired one or swap AA's out quite often (really suprised thats not included yet)

but yea both have there ups and downs, depends what you play, what your friends play, and if you want to play online with them or some uinique exclusive single player games this year.

I was in the same boat, always been a sony fanboy played halo 3 on mates Xbox when it was launched and seriously debated getting an Xbox. Played mw2 on an Xbox, so much easier than ps3, just hold the trigger down - 0 recoil. Most of my mates had xboxs but more and more getting ps3s as a replacement

so are you saying the xbox mw2 has no weapon recoil where the ps3 one does? ummm dont know about that lol may have read it wrong

Nono just what it felt like, Xbox seemed a little sluggish compared to my ps3 too but then again I might play on higher sensitivity than my friend

PS3 is a very good Bluray player much better than a £40 one to say the least, the PS3 Bluray is better compared to a £200+ blu ray player.
